Still, no matter what, she had to do her homework. The miserable Sonoko took out her books and looked toward Ran Mouri.
Sonoko was a poor student and couldn't solve many questions, so at times like this, she could only ask Ran Mouri for help.
"Sonoko, you still need to study seriously," Ran Mouri told her. Sonoko couldn't even do many simple problems, especially in mathematics, which was practically her greatest difficulty.
"I do study seriously, but I'm just not cut out for it."
Sonoko knew herself well. It wasn't that she didn't work hard; she genuinely couldn't absorb what she studied, which was why she was still such a poor student.
In truth, Sonoko had completely given up on academics. If her parents had not kept pushing her, she would have wanted to take a leave from school already.
But as the second daughter of the Suzuki Family, she absolutely could not have too low an education level. It would be embarrassing to say so, so no matter how much Sonoko disliked it, she still had to attend school.
Besides, Sonoko did not dislike going to school. Her best friend, Ran Mouri, was there, and more importantly, she could see Chen at school. Sonoko actually loved going to school.
Two hours later, Sonoko tossed her pen aside and let out a relieved breath. She had finally finished. It felt as though she had been set free, and her heart relaxed considerably.
"Now I can finally have some proper fun! Hooray!" Sonoko jumped up excitedly.
Chen looked at Sonoko rather speechlessly. Was there really any need to be that excited? He found her excitement utterly baffling. Wasn't this a little too much? Still, Sonoko had always been the loud and boisterous type.
"Seriously? I just finished my homework, and you're
