Kushina was a clanswoman of her grandmother, and it was Tsunade who had gone to the Land of Whirlpools to bring her and Tomoko Uzumaki back; as they were the last remaining members of the Uzumaki Clan (or so Konoha believed), Tsunade naturally felt the need to look after her.

"It's nothing, don't worry, Sister Tsunade! I'm fine." Giving Hyuga Shin a fierce glare, Kushina stepped out of his embrace.

However, once she left Hyuga Shin's arms, Kushina felt a sudden sense of loss; while she had been in his embrace, she had felt incredibly warm and comfortable.

Even her heart, which had been restless since arriving in Konoha, had calmed down, and now that she had left Hyuga Shin's hold, it felt as if she had lost something important.

"Sister Tsunade, did you need me for something?" Hyuga Shin hurriedly changed the subject.

"Can't I come to see you unless there's a reason? Or are you saying that now that you have two little girlfriends, you don't need your sister anymore?"

Hyuga Shin gave a bitter smile; it would have been better not to change the subject at all!

Mikoto's face turned bright red at Tsunade's words, and she shyly lowered her head.

"Sister Tsunade, who is this big bad guy's little girlfriend?" Kushina explained, her face flushed crimson.

"Hmph! Still trying to deny it? Nawaki already told me everything when he got home." Tsunade cast a disdainful look at Hyuga Shin, not expecting him to be such a playboy.

Chapter 43: Sparring with Tsunade

"That guy Nawaki, it seems I didn't teach him a sufficient lesson." Hyuga Shin gritted his teeth, deciding he would make Nawaki pay later.

Nawaki, who was currently refining chakra at the Senju estate, suddenly sneezed; for some reason, he felt a bad premonition.

"Let's put that aside for now. I came to see you for a serious matter regarding those taijutsu techniques you gave me." As she spoke, Tsunade glanced at Mikoto and Kushina.

"Kushina and I have things to discuss, so we'll take our leave." Mikoto took Kushina's hand, wanting to step aside.

"No need, it's fine." Hyuga Shin shook his head; Mikoto knew them anyway, and it didn't matter if Kushina stayed.

Tsunade paused for a moment, then didn't say anything further.

"Is it that you've encountered some problems with your training?" Hyuga Shin asked curiously.

"Yes! Everything else is fine, but I just can't seem to master Kami-e and Observation Haki." Tsunade voiced her concerns.

Aside from the Six Powers techniques Kami-e and Tekkai, as well as Observation Haki, Tsunade had already learned everything else; she couldn't say she was proficient, but she could at least use them.

She hadn't bothered training Tekkai since she possessed Armament Haki, which made Tekkai redundant, but she hadn't managed to learn either the sensory ability of Observation Haki or Kami-e.

"Once you master Observation Haki, there's no need to learn Kami-e. The best way to quickly grasp Observation Haki is to practice dodging high-speed objects," Hyuga Shin suggested.

"Why don't we have a spar?"

Tsunade's eyes widened. "Are you out of your mind?"

Hyuga Shin chuckled at her words. "Sister Tsunade, don't underestimate me. If I were to go all out, I could finish you in one move."

"Shin, arrogance is not a good habit."

To Tsunade, Hyuga Shin's words were a joke; it was already generous of her not to call him ignorant of the immensity of heaven and earth.

"Is that so? Then let's put it to the test! Laser!" Aiming his finger at Tsunade, a golden flash streaked across the sky.

Tsunade's pupils contracted sharply; that attack had grazed her cheek, yet she hadn't even reacted. In other words, if they were enemies, she would already be dead.

Although she hadn't been paying full attention, even if she had focused her spirit, it would have been difficult to dodge—it was simply too fast.

"What kind of ninjutsu is that, which can be released without hand seals?" Tsunade asked curiously.

"This isn't ninjutsu; you can think of it as an ability equivalent to a kekkei genkai," Hyuga Shin replied, shaking his head.

"Sister Tsunade, don't underestimate anyone. You've committed a major taboo for a ninja."

"To be lectured by a brat, how annoying." Tsunade was a bit displeased.

"Then let me see the strength you've been hiding, Shin!" Tsunade clenched her fists, the ground beneath her feet cracked, and in an instant, she appeared behind Hyuga Shin.

"Don't hold back, use your full strength! And Sister Tsunade, be careful not to get hurt; I won't be showing any mercy."

"To look down on me like this... today I'll teach you a proper lesson!" Tsunade said indignantly.

"Shave! Strength of a Hundred Fist!"

This time, Tsunade truly went all out, using Shave for high-speed movement and the Strength of a Hundred Fist to attack.

Although the power looked astonishing, Hyuga Shin moved like a piece of paper, dancing with the wind of her punches, leaving Tsunade unable to land a single hit.

The massive Vacuum Blade shattered in mid-air into countless tiny Vacuum Blades, raining down upon Tsunade and completely sealing off her path. The range was so vast that even if Tsunade used the Substitution Technique, she couldn't escape.

Tsunade's pupils constricted violently, and she wrapped her hands in chakra to swat away the incoming blades.

After a great deal of effort, she finally managed to clear them, but before she could even catch her breath, a sky full of Vacuum Blades descended once more, making Tsunade want to curse.
