None of that mattered. What mattered was that there was a gift pack inside the inventory, labeled Compensation Gift Pack.

Could it be compensation for the system not showing up for the past three years? Hyuga Shin wondered.

Hyuga Shin didn't ask the system, either. It might not answer anyway. Since the system had given it to him, he might as well open it.

Hyuga Shin tapped the gift pack, and a dazzling golden light flashed, making him close his eyes.

"What blinding light! It almost blinded my titanium-alloy Tenseigan. I wonder what good stuff is inside. If it's something lousy, I'm definitely beating up the system."

Hyuga Shin rubbed his eyes as he spoke. That flash had really gotten him. It was a hundred times brighter than sunlight.

After rubbing his eyes, Hyuga Shin managed to open them and looked at the inventory. He found three things lying inside.

One of them was a yellow fruit covered in strange swirls. Hyuga Shin knew it well: it was a Devil Fruit.

Seeing the Devil Fruit, Hyuga Shin's eyes filled with indecision.

There was no way he wasn't tempted by the Devil Fruit's power, but its weakness was too severe, leaving him uncertain.

Gritting his teeth, Hyuga Shin said, "Let's see what kind of fruit it is first. If it's a powerful one, I'll eat it. If it's some useless Zoan, I'll just leave it here!"

They were physical techniques that surpassed the limits of the human body in the One Piece World. Though they weren't used much later on and were mostly replaced by the Three Types of Haki, their power was beyond question.

The methods for training the body in the Naruto world were awful—at least compared with those in One Piece, the difference was like night and day.

Hyuga Shin took out the Chakra Refinement Technique. He was even more excited than he'd been when drawing a prize. He'd been here for three years, and he was finally about to come into contact with chakra.
