"Inspector Megure, you forgot someone." Chen reminded Inspector Megure.
"Hm?" Inspector Megure turned around and looked at Chen in confusion.
"Yoko Okino had asked Uncle Mouri to investigate the threats against her earlier. I think the one making those threats was Yuko Ikezawa, right?"
"Yes, it was me." Yuko Ikezawa let out a breath and offered no defense.
Being able to prove that she was not the murderer had already been enough to make her breathe easy.
Yuko Ikezawa was taken away as well. Her crime was not particularly serious, and she would probably be released soon, but her career would be ruined once she got out.
"Miss Yoko Okino, you probably can't stay here tonight, right? Why not come stay at my place?" Kogoro Mouri shamelessly invited her.
"Dad, we don't have any spare rooms at home either." Ran Mouri said angrily.
"Isn't that easy? Conan can sleep with me. Isn't it a waste for a little brat like him to have a whole room to himself?" Kogoro Mouri said.
Conan's mouth twitched. He had no desire to sleep with this guy and all his terrible habits.
"No need. I have another house." Yoko Okino declined.
"I see..." Kogoro Mouri looked utterly disappointed. Then he looked at Conan, finding him irritating no matter how he looked at him.
"It's all your fault, you little brat." Kogoro Mouri punched Conan on the head.
Conan wanted to cry. Who had he even offended?
"Dad, could you stop hitting Conan every time? You're going to damage his brain." Ran Mouri said.
"What about these little kids?" Kogoro Mouri changed the subject, unwilling to be lectured.
Seeing Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko, Ran Mouri did not know what to do either.
"I'll have my manager, Eiichi Yamagishi, take them home," Yoko Okino said.
