"Alright." Chen looked at the anticipation in Ran's eyes and could not bear to refuse her.

Eri Kisaki said nothing. After chatting with Ran for a few moments, she drove away, while Chen led Ran and Sonoko Suzuki into his car.

"Who should I drop off first?" Chen sat in the driver's seat and turned to look at the two girls in the back.

"Take Sonoko home first. You'll pass by the detective agency on your way back anyway," Ran said at once.

"Alright, then I'll take you home first, Sonoko." Chen drove Sonoko home.

Afterward, Chen declined Sonoko's invitation to come in and sit for a while. It was already late, and he needed to head back soon.

Since it was late at night, there were hardly any cars on the road, so they drove quickly and soon arrived at the Mouri Detective Agency.

"Ran, we're here," Chen said to her.

"Huh?" Ran blanked out for a moment. When she came back to herself, her cheeks turned even redder. She had actually lost herself in thought.

"Um, are we there already?" Ran asked.

"Yeah, we're at your home."

Ran nodded. After hesitating for a moment, she gathered her courage and said, "It's already very late. How about staying at my place for the night?"

"Stay at your place?" Chen's voice rose slightly.

"Yeah, it's too late now." Ran's voice grew softer and softer as she lowered her head, blushing.

"By the way, does your house really have a spare room?"

"You can... you can stay in my room, but don't get any improper ideas." Ran spoke so quietly that if
