If Conan had come along, then with Conan's protagonist aura keeping them safe from danger, nothing major would usually happen.
But they had not brought Conan with them. If things went wrong, something could really happen.
"You mean the final location indicated by that code is where the culprit behind that car accident is?" Ai Haibara frowned.
If Ai Haibara had known from the beginning, she definitely would have stopped them from going. Though she was not particularly close to Genta and Mitsuhiko, she had a very good relationship with Ayumi.
If Ayumi were in danger, Ai Haibara definitely would not just stand by and watch.
"This is bad! Genta, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi are missing!" Professor Agasa hurried over in a panic.
"Relax, Professor. Those little brats are smart. They'll be fine, so you don't need to worry so much." Heiji Hattori said to Professor Agasa with his hands clasped behind his head.
"But this place is unfamiliar to them. They've never been here before. I'm still worried." Professor Agasa spoke anxiously.
"They may be in danger." Conan's expression turned grave as he picked up the slip of paper containing the code.
When Mitsuhiko and the others had left, they had not taken it with them, instead leaving it on the table.
"What's going on?" Heiji Hattori asked Conan.
"Look at this. So this was what they had been studying in the car earlier. Professor Agasa, call the police right now."
"Is it really that serious?" Professor Agasa asked.
"It's extremely serious. If we're any later, they'll all be in danger. Hurry up." Conan said nervously.
Professor Agasa hurriedly called the police. Then Conan ran outside, just in time to see Shin driving away with Ai Haibara.
"Hattori, you can drive, right?" Conan asked Heiji Hattori.
