"Of the two of us, I'm afraid only one can get out. You run first—I'll hold them off here," Heiji Hattori said through gritted teeth.
"No. I'm the one who got you into this mess. You leave first," Shinichi Kudo retorted.
"You two really are quite the pair. How about I make you a real pair, then?"
A wicked smile appeared on Chen's face. Though they could not see that utterly sinister smile beneath his mask, Heiji Hattori and Shinichi Kudo both felt a chill run down their spines.
"What are you trying to do?" Shinichi Kudo had a strong feeling that something was terribly wrong.
"Have a taste of this Gas Bomb." Chen took out a Gas Bomb and threw it at them, then pulled Akako Koizumi away.
"What comes next will be too bloody and disgusting. I won't be able to eat afterward, so we should leave first," Chen said to Akako Koizumi.
"???"
Akako Koizumi stared at Chen in confusion, her head full of question marks.
"What do you mean? Is there something wrong with that Gas Bomb?" Akako Koizumi asked curiously.
"Of course there is. I made that Gas Bomb specially. Ever heard of Aphrodisiac Gas?" Chen removed his mask, wearing a warm, springlike smile.
Yet upon hearing "Aphrodisiac Gas," Akako Koizumi's body stiffened. After imagining what might happen, she nearly threw up her dinner.
"You're disgusting," Akako Koizumi could not help saying.
"Let's go back. Someone over there will be even more disgusting," Chen said, taking Akako Koizumi's hand as they left.
After inhaling the pungent gas in the alley, Heiji Hattori and Shinichi Kudo both felt their heads grow dizzy.
"Damn it, is this poison gas?" Heiji Hattori suspected.
"No, I think it's some kind of gas. I just don't know whether it's poisonous.
