Becoming a Chunin

The Anbu Chunin Exam.

It consists of two main parts.

The first part is intelligence gathering, and the second part is intelligence delivery.

The exam takes place in the Forest of Death.

There are many wild beasts inside.

In front of one of the entrances to the Forest of Death.

Uzuki Yugao handed Su Yu a scroll.

"This scroll marks the location of the intelligence you need to retrieve, as well as where you must place it after you have obtained it."

"There are three Chunin, but only one carries the real intelligence. How am I supposed to tell the difference?" Su Yu asked, looking at the instructions on the scroll.

"The intelligence scroll is a different size than a standard scroll and must be kept close to the body," Uzuki Yugao hinted to Su Yu.

"I see, I understand." Su Yu memorized the hint and walked into the Forest of Death.

Uzuki Yugao watched him enter the Forest of Death and disappear from sight.

The Forest of Death is different from the ordinary forests of Konoha.

The trees here are large enough to block out the sunlight, and walking beneath them, one can feel the terror of the Forest of Death.

This person was none other than Uzuki Yugao.

In her hand, she held a chunin flak jacket.

"Congratulations on becoming an Anbu chunin."

"Thank you." Su Yu released the Shadow Possession Technique, walked up to Uzuki Yugao, and took the chunin flak jacket.

"Su Yu-kun, congratulations. I never expected you to know the secret techniques of the Nara Clan," Kurenai Yuhi said.

"I learned it by chance," Su Yu replied.

"You don't seem to have learned many ninjutsu yet. Are there any you would like to study?" Uzuki Yugao asked.

"I would like to learn sealing jutsu and medical ninjutsu, as well as water-style, fire-style, and wind-style ninjutsu," Su Yu stated directly.

"Sealing jutsu and medical ninjutsu?" Uzuki Yugao was taken aback.

"I am suited for solo operations. Learning more skills provides an extra layer of security," Su Yu said earnestly.

"Very well, I will submit the request for you," Uzuki Yugao said after a moment of hesitation.

She knew that Su Yu had other secrets.

Everyone had their own secrets they wished to keep hidden; that was perfectly normal.

When night fell.

Uzuki Yugao arrived at Su Yu's home carrying three different scrolls.

"I explained your situation to the Hokage. He will grant you two months to slowly train in these ninjutsu. Once the Konoha chunin exams conclude in two months, you will be assigned to the Intelligence Division, responsible for relaying information."

"Teacher Uzuki Yugao, thank you." Su Yu bowed deeply.

"Don't mention it. I didn't do much to help; your performance was outstanding, and you didn't need a lead jonin at all," Uzuki Yugao said softly.

"Teacher Uzuki Yugao, please wait a moment." After saying this, Su Yu walked into his room.

Before long, he returned with a ninja sword.

Uzuki Yugao looked at the sword, knowing it was of great value and aware of where Su Yu's money came from.

"Yes." Su Yu took the scroll and lowered his head.

"Get some rest. Good night." After saying this, Uzuki Yugao turned and left.

Su Yu watched her retreating figure without saying a word.

After a long while, he returned to his room.

The three scrolls contained ninjutsu, sealing jutsu, and medical ninjutsu respectively.

There was also Uzuki Yugao's Konoha-Style Kenjutsu.

"Two months should be just about enough," Su Yu muttered to himself.
