Inside Su Yu's home.

Tsunade had sent people to clean the place up.

There were no signs of the room being rummaged through; instead, it was tidied up neatly.

Su Yu had prepared a room for Temari.

Temari said thank you, looking slightly shy.

"It's getting late, I'm going to prepare dinner. Stay in your room and don't walk around; I'll come get you once dinner is ready," Su Yu said to Temari.

"I... I can help you," Temari said softly.

"You are a guest, leave these things to me," Su Yu declined.

"Alright, if you need any help, feel free to call me anytime," Temari watched Su Yu.

Su Yu nodded and left.

Temari watched Su Yu depart and closed the door.

Su Yu did not start preparing dinner immediately; instead, he returned to his own room and activated his Byakugan.

It was no surprise to him that several Anbu ninjas were already in the vicinity.

Tsunade had already let Temari experience danger once.

This secret protection by the Anbu ninjas was Tsunade's way of being prepared for any eventuality.

She knew Su Yu would certainly be able to detect them, so these Anbu ninjas did not hide; one only needed to pay a little attention to discover them.

This could also serve to deter Danzo.

Information and files regarding Su Yu had already been secured in the Hokage Office.

Danzo was no fool; even if he knew Temari was staying here, he wouldn't dare come to launch a sneak attack.

If he made a move within Konoha and was discovered, the funding and personnel of Root would likely be cut in half.

Tsunade's precautions against Danzo could be said to have reached a profound level.

Danzo was also walking on thin ice, his status declining day by day.

Danzo listened to his subordinate's report without saying a word.

Temari had already arrived in Konoha, which meant the three people he sent must have been completely wiped out.

"According to information provided by our informants, Temari is with a young man, and there are Anbu ninjas watching them in the surrounding area," the subordinate continued to report.

"Who is this young man?" Danzo asked.

"He should be Su Yu. He passed the Anbu Chunin examination and disappeared before the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, returned to Konoha. It is suspected that he obtained a Summoning Beast from one of the three great holy lands," the subordinate thought for a moment before saying.

They were still able to obtain such basic intelligence.

"I see, I understand," a flash of realization crossed Danzo's eyes.

The subordinate looked confused, and Danzo's two personal guards exchanged glances, neither understanding what he meant.

"Tsunade was persuaded to return by this person. If I am not mistaken, what he obtained must be a Summoning Beast from Shikkotsu Forest, which allows him to maintain a connection with Tsunade. Before the Third Hokage died, he listed this Su Yu as a new member of the Hokage faction, making him a confidant of Tsunade," Danzo paced back and forth, beginning to analyze.

"Lord Danzo, should we bring him back? Control him?" one of the personal guards, Yamanaka Fu, asked.

"He is with Temari; it is very likely that he saved her and killed Sai and the others. With the strength of you two, if you fail to capture him, we will have to tear off the mask with Tsunade directly," Danzo said indifferently.

"This subordinate failed to consider that," Yamanaka Fu lowered his head.

"If there is an opportunity, we must test his strength. I feel this person is very critical; he might even become the next Kakashi," Danzo pondered.

The three people in the room were all shocked upon hearing this.

Kakashi could be considered one of the most famous Jonin in Konoha, capable of fighting almost anyone to a draw. Even elite Jonin from Root might not be able to kill Kakashi, and might even be killed by him instead.

"Closely monitor Temari's movements. When she leaves Konoha, attempt to ambush Su Yu, test his strength, and then leave immediately," Danzo ordered.

"Yes," the subordinate replied and left using the Body Flicker Technique.

By the time Su Yu had dinner ready.

The sun was already setting.

The two sat at the low table, eating dinner.

Temari was surprised by Su Yu's culinary skills and gave the meal a high rating.

After dinner.

Su Yu tidied up the tableware, carried a cup of hot tea to the low table, took out the books he had purchased, and began reading them right in front of Temari.

Temari didn't notice at first, but when she caught a glimpse of the paper bag, her face turned bright red in an instant.

Su Yu acted as if he hadn't noticed, reading with a look of intense focus.

Temari stole glances at Su Yu, feeling somewhat shy.

"Do you want to read together?" Su Yu suddenly looked up.

"Eh?" Temari was stunned.

"You seem quite curious about this book; we can read it together." Su Yu's expression was indifferent.

"Were you looking at me?" Su Yu asked.

"Mm." Temari nodded slightly, not daring to look up at Su Yu.

Su Yu set the book down, stood up, walked over to Temari's side, and sat down.

Immediately after, he took hold of Temari's small hand and slowly leaned in toward her.

"Su... Su Yu-kun..." Temari was flustered and at a loss.

Su Yu stopped when he was less than a palm's width away from her face.

Their eyes met.

Temari was shy and nervous, her heart pounding like a startled deer.

Su Yu, on the other hand, looked at her with a calm expression.

A long silence passed.

"My heart is not in Konoha. If you like me, I can also secretly help Sunagakure. With my current strength, I can say without modesty that there isn't a single ninja in Sunagakure who is my match," Su Yu said.

"You... you mean, we... we..."

"We can be good friends, the kind of good friends who are intimate. I can help you become stronger and make Gaara's position more stable," Su Yu said, looking at her.

"Can... can we not be together?" Temari's eyes dimmed.

"Can you accept that I have other girlfriends?" Su Yu countered with a question.

"I... I..." Temari had no way to answer.

"To be honest, I want to use you. This will bring you benefits in the early stages, and later on, you can always refuse me," Su Yu stared intently at Temari.

"What can I do for you? And what kind of return can you give me?" Temari hesitated for a moment before looking Su Yu straight in the eye.

"I want Sunagakure to help me gather intelligence. For every piece of information I need, I will pay. You can receive money, as well as a copy of Tsunade's Medical Ninja notes, Sealing Jutsu of the Uzumaki Clan, and the help of me and my squad," Su Yu offered generous terms.
