Lies, Both True and False

In front of Konoha Hospital.

Su Yu watched the girl approaching him.

The person he was looking for was Rin Nohara. Since she was a medical ninja, he figured she would be at Konoha Hospital.

The Mind's Eye of the Kagura detected Rin Nohara's chakra. She didn't keep him waiting long.

Rin noticed the Anbu Ninja and couldn't help feeling curious.

When she reached Su Yu's side,

he spoke.

"Do you want to save Uchiha Obito?"

Rin stopped at his words and looked at Su Yu in confusion.

The next second,

she watched the Three-Tomoe Sharingan spin and fell into a world of illusion.

Several scenes appeared one after another.

Uchiha Obito was pinned beneath a boulder and gave his Sharingan to Kakashi.

Kakashi killed her, and Uchiha Obito's eyes became the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Then, after Uchiha Obito attacked Kushina Uzumaki, he summoned the Nine-Tails. Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki gave their lives to seal it.

The illusion ended.

The newcomer was Rin Nohara, one of Minato Namikaze's subordinates.

"Rin, why are you—"

"Sorry, I can't tell you," Rin said seriously.

When it came to the future, the fewer people who knew, the better.

That was what Su Yu had told her on the way there.

Kushina looked at Rin, then at Su Yu. She wanted to ask whether Su Yu had tricked Rin, but didn't dare.

Holding Rin's small hand, Su Yu walked up to Kushina and held out his other hand.

Kushina slowly reached out and placed her hand in his.

Su Yu sensed the Flying Thunder God Kunai.

"Don't resist. See your fate for yourself." Su Yu cast an illusion on Kushina.

Kushina saw the Three-Tomoe Sharingan and jumped in fright.

Then she froze.

Minato Namikaze became the Fourth Hokage.

She married Minato, and they had a child.

A mysterious man attacked her and released the Nine-Tails.

Minato gave his life alongside her to protect Konoha.

Then the scene changed, and their child had grown much older.

Because of the Nine-Tails Incident, most people in Konoha hated the boy.

The Third Hokage assigned Anbu to watch him.

The scene ended.

Kushina came out of the illusion, her face full of disbelief.

"If you and Minato get together, this is what will happen. This is your future.

Your child will grow up slowly, surrounded by loneliness and hatred. He'll have no parents by his side and no friends. Even the Third Hokage will care more about watching him than looking after him.

He's the Fourth Hokage's child, yet the Third Hokage won't explain anything. He'll let the villagers hate the boy.

You and the Fourth Hokage will give your lives to protect the village, yet everyone will treat your child like a monster.

That's Konoha. That's who the Third Hokage really is." Su Yu spoke each word deliberately.

"Do you have any proof?" Doubt crept into Kushina's eyes.

"Proof? No problem. I happen to be taking someone from the Uzumaki Clan to Konoha. Do you know why I'm sending her there?" Su Yu asked, watching Kushina.

Kushina's eyes trembled. She guessed the purpose of his plan.

"Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, thinks the current Nine-Tails Jinchuriki is difficult to control, so she wants to train a new Nine-Tails Jinchuriki," Su Yu said calmly.
