Riverlands, Riverrun. 💎😂 😡😝
Robb Stark, with the support of his uncle Edmure Tully and the endorsement of the Riverlands including the House Blackwood, House Bracken, House Mallister, House Frey, House Darry, House Mooton, House Piper, House Whent, House Vance, and House Ryger, declared himself King in the North and King of the Trident.
King Robb then prepared to personally lead his army Westerlands.
King Robb's objective was to force Tywin Lannister's army to return to the Westerlands, allowing Stannis Baratheon to successfully conquer King's King's Landing without Lannister reinforcements.
His plan was to Lannister Tywin Lannister in the Westerlands until King's Landing fell.
King Robb had specifically inquired about Stannis, and after the fall of the city... he believed that Stannis would never forgive the sinners in the Red Keep, and that Stannis would carry out the revenge on behalf of the Stark.
On the eve of the campaign, Robb Stark, wearing a bronze and black iron sword crown, was reading a letter he had just received. He immediately recognized it as a letter from his father.
My father wasn't killed by the Lannister...
The father brought Sansa and Arya back safely to Winterfell...
Upon reading this, Robb couldn't help but shed tears. This is wonderful! Thank the Old Gods for their protection!
Theon Greyjoy, whom he considered his brother, had betrayed him... Why would he do this?! King Robb clenched his fists in disbelief.
After reading the letter, King Robb fell into a long silence.
He slowly exhaled and ordered, "Go and fetch Lord Edmure. Tell him... I have something important to discuss."
After quite a while, Edmure Tully finally strolled over.
"What brings you here so late, Robb?"
The smell of alcohol emanating from him made King Robb frown, and he corrected him, "It is the King, my uncle."
Edmure shrugged. "I'll get used to it as soon as possible."
King Robb said solemnly, "Lord Edmure, I hope you can get used to it quickly, otherwise others might mistakenly think you are denying that I am your king."
Edmure's smile faded slightly, a hint of embarrassment in his expression. Cat's son was becoming more and more like a true king.
He coughed lightly and said, "I certainly support you, Robb... Your Majesty..."
King Robb took out the letter delivered by the Winterfell and handed it to Edmure, saying, "Uncle Edmure, you are family. You need to see this letter."
Edmure glanced at King Robb with some doubt, then lowered his eyes to read the letter. After a moment, he exclaimed joyfully, "Oh, Ned is alright?! The Gods help me!"
He paced back and forth excitedly. "We need to let Cat know this good news as soon as possible..."
As he spoke, he suddenly stopped and said, "By the way, when will Cat be back...?"
Two days ago, we received a letter from my mother, Uncle Edmure. ♗🍩 😂😺
"Oh? Oh! Look at me, I've gotten too excited! I... I'll send a raven to Eyrie first thing tomorrow morning; I need to get Cat this good news as soon as possible!"
Robb: "..."
"Oh right, I need to inform the lords of the North about this as soon as possible! Hmm... should we hold a celebratory banquet... it's just a little late..."
Robb: "..."
"Oh, I can't wait to drink and celebrate! What do you think?"
Seeing that Robb remained silent, Edmure assumed he hadn't heard him and called out, " Robb? Robb? Robb..."
King Robb coldly corrected him, "It is the King, Lord Edmure."
"Feel sorry..."
Lost in joy, Edmure noticed his nephew's pale face and asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
Robb looked at Edmure and said, "My uncle, regarding the news about my father... we need to keep it from you for now."
Edmure glanced at Robb in surprise, then smiled slightly and said, "Are you getting a little too excited, just like me?"
"Lord Edmure, I am discussing this matter with you very seriously."
Edmure's smile vanished, and he said seriously, "What happened? If there's anything difficult, just hand it over to me. I'm at your beck and call, my king."
Ever since being taken prisoner by the Lannister, the heir to Riverrun is eager to do something to redeem his honor.
Edmure was also eager to demonstrate his abilities to his nephew, the king.
Edmure's blue eyes flickered, and he continued, "You want to see your father as soon as possible? That's right, you're leading troops to the Westerlands tomorrow..."
After a moment's thought, he clapped his hands and said, "I've got a plan! You stay here, I'll go to the Westerlands in your place! I promise, I will never lose to the Lannister a second time..."
Before Edmure could finish speaking, Robb interrupted, "My uncle, I'm worried about the North lords I brought with me... I'm worried that when they learn of Father's return to Winterfell, they'll demand that I return to the North."
Edmure was taken aback. After a pause, he said, "Why would they... Oh, right, they followed you south to avenge Ned..."
Robb nodded gravely.
Edmure scratched his cheek and said, "We need to defeat the Lannister as soon as possible, or if all else fails... we can negotiate?"
He thought his sudden idea was excellent, " Baratheon is about to attack King's Landing... I think the Lannister would be willing to negotiate with us! Besides, Lord Tywin's eldest son is still in our hands; we can make them compensate us for our losses with the gold mines of the Westerlands. 🐍♠ 🍓👺"
Robb frowned. "If we negotiate now, we can only gain temporary peace. Lord Edmure, if the Lannister defeat Stannis, their next target will be the Riverlands."
He rose from his chair. "Therefore, our plan cannot be changed. We must defeat the Lannister; only then can we secure the peace talks we truly need."
After a moment of silence, Edmure spread his hands and said, "I will obey you, my king."
Robb smiled and said, "Guard Riverrun well, my uncle."
After Jaime Lannister's army was routed, Stafford Lord Tywin 'Lannister cousin and brother-in-law, was tasked with gathering the remaining troops.
He set up camp on a plain behind Golden Tooth, where he reorganized his remaining troops and trained the 5,000 newly recruited soldiers from the Westerlands.
Golden Tooth is the only way to enter the Westerlands. Since the camp is located behind it, Stafford considers it very safe and therefore did not set up enough sentries.
Robb Stark's Stark - Tully allied forces (mainly cavalry) bypassed the heavily fortified Golden Tooth and entered the Westerlands via mountain trails scouted by the Crannogmen.
The unsuspecting Lannister camp was attacked by the North - Riverlands army. The Lannister army, composed of recruits and remnants, was routed with little resistance, and Stafford Lannister was killed in action.
After this battle, Stevron Frey, heir to the Marquess of the Twins in the Stark - Tully alliance, died from his wounds.
After the battle, the remaining Lannister army retreated to Lannisport (located west of Casterly Rock, the largest city in the Westerlands ), Stafford Daven, Lannister them in and reassembled a new army.
King's Landing.
Tyrion Lannister left the Red Keep with a few men under the pretext of inspecting the city's defenses, and stopped his horse as he passed Cobbler's Square.
"Degeneration, degeneration!" someone screamed.
Tyrion looked over with some curiosity, and there... under a leather canopy, a thin, dark-skinned man in a tattered wool sweater was giving a speech on a high platform, with a large crowd gathered to listen.
"We have become bloated, filthy, and corrupt! Siblings mate in the king's bedchamber, and their promiscuous offspring dance in the palace to the flute music of deformed the Imp."
Tyrion, one of the listeners, grinned. He genuinely wished he had the skill to make Joffrey obey.
"The rotten Summer is coming to an end, and the King of Prostitutes is being punished by the heavens! He is disemboweled by a wild boar, and a terrible stench rises to the sky, while a thousand snakes crawl out of his belly, hissing and biting!"
" The Gods are crying out, demanding that we purify ourselves, or they will wipe us from the world! Bathe in the wine of righteousness, or we will be consumed by fire! Consumed by fire!"
"Burning into flames!" Although some people echoed this sentiment, it was drowned out by the roar of laughter from the crowd.
Tyrion nodded slightly, then gestured for them to continue.
Captain Bronn urged his horse to Tyrion's side and said, "My lord, lately there have been quite a few of these people giving speeches in crowded places, claiming to be prophets."
Tyrion chuckled, "What a lovely name..."
His tone shifted, and he said seriously, "Don't let my Empress Dowager sister know about this."
Bronn paused for a moment, then said, "My lord, the Gold Cloaks are worried that the people of King's Landing might riot under their instigation."
Tyrion shrugged and said, "Let's leave it for now. Nobody's not afraid of war. The poor people need an outlet for their frustrations."
He paused, then continued, "While I'm glad they didn't just insult me, what's truly terrifying is if my dear sister and nephew heard about this and didn't hesitate to rip out their tongues... Fear can silence them, and that silence can easily be manipulated into hatred by those with ulterior motives."
Bronn said with some helplessness, "Lord Tyrion, your Queen Mother sister is surrounded by gossips; you can't hide it from her."
Tyrion narrowed his eyes and whispered, "Loyal Bronn, is there any way to let my Queen Mother sleep soundly until the war is over?"
Bronn quickly glanced around and lowered his voice, "My lord, are you serious?"
Tyrion stared at Bronn for a moment, then suddenly laughed and said, "If we really did that, the Lioness would go crazy when she wakes up."
Bronn flashed Tyrion's familiar lewd grin and said, "My lord, I am at your beck and call."
Tyrion stopped his horse as he passed through the marketplace of the Gate of the Gods. Normally, this place was crowded with farmers selling fruits and vegetables, but now it was deserted.
Tyrion sighed inwardly and asked, " Bronn, how many people petitioned today?"
Bronn tugged at the reins and replied, "About thirty people. King Joffrey didn't receive them today, so the Master of Household had to write down their petition and send it to the Tower of the Hand."
After a moment of silence, Tyrion asked, "Is there anything 'interesting'?"
"Most of them are the same as before, either complaining or asking for something..."
After a pause, Bronn said with a slightly more serious tone, "A merchant from Braavos has some seemingly legitimate promissory notes in his hand, saying he wants to meet with the king to discuss the repayment of the debt."
Braavos Tyrion's eyes flickered slightly as he asked, "Who else?"
"A lord from the Riverlands has accused your father's men of burning down his castle, raping his wife, and killing all his farmers."
Tyrion grinned. " The Lannister ' special way of gaining favor is through a family skill."
He stroked his chin and added, " Bronn, in Joffrey's name, appease him well, and make the arrangements generously."
Bronn nodded slightly.
"And then?"
"And a large group of bakers, butchers, and vegetable vendors were clamoring to see the king."
" Bronn, we have nothing left to give them before the war ends."
Bronn shook his head slightly and replied, "They've come seeking protection. Apparently, a baker was baked alive on his own oven last night because he was charging too much for his bread."
Tyrion paused, then said, "Roasted him? They... didn't eat him, did they?"
Bronn shrugged and said, "I haven't heard of that."
Tyrion pondered, "Now I actually hope war comes soon..."
Bronn asked in confusion, "My lord, didn't you say we needed more time to strengthen King's Landing's defenses?"
Tyrion sighed and said, "Let's speed things up... We can't leave the city with a tail, my captain of the guard."
Inside the Parris Inn King's Landing, Tyrion, accompanied by his young servant, went straight up the stairs.
Upon reaching the second floor, Tyrion's blue and black eyes scanned his surroundings before he took a step forward and stopped in front of a door.
" Pod, don't let anyone bother me."
Gryn Crabb smiled as he saw Tyrion enter through the door.
Tyrion carefully closed the door, then limped over and said, "Ah, our messenger, welcome back."
He added, "This is a nice place, very suitable... hehe!"
Gryn looked up and smiled, saying, "Please sit, Your Lord Hand."
After saying that, he picked up the wine jug, poured a cup of wine, and pushed it over.
Tyrion climbed into the chair, settled in, and said, "Any interesting experiences on this trip? Hmm, you know what I mean."
As he spoke, he reached for his wine glass.
Gryn smiled and said, "Although time was a bit tight, I think I haven't let the Lord Hand down."
Tyrion took a large gulp of wine and said angrily, " Lord Gryn, let's get down to business."
Gryn showed a look of disgust and said, "The ladies of House Tyrell are very charming."
Tyrion nodded in satisfaction and said, "Now that we've heard the important stuff... well, now we can talk about some trivial matters."
