Background / History

Tang Hao was the son of the previous Clear Sky Sect Master and one of the continent's most renowned soul masters. In his prime, he fought Pope Qian Xunji alone, severely wounding him and earning the enduring reputation of the Clear Sky Douluo. He was later expelled from the Clear Sky Sect after causing a great disaster and spent more than a decade in exile. 45 66 114

He shared a deep bond with the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor, Ah Yin—identified as Tang Yin in later accounts. When she sacrificed herself to save him, she became his ninth soul ring. The battle that followed left Tang Hao with severe internal injuries from which he never fully recovered. 45 72 74

Tang Hao secretly observes the confrontation over Xiao Wu, then reveals himself after Leng Jun freezes Tang San and the Shrek group. He frees them from the ice but is accused of waiting for Xiao Wu to sacrifice herself to Tang San. 68 69

He battles Leng Jun with the Clear Sky Hammer but is disrupted by Xu Feng's spiritual attack and Leng Jun's soul skills. Unable to secure victory and concerned for Tang San and the unconscious Shrek members, he withdraws. 70

Xu Feng severs Tang Hao's right arm and takes its inherited soul bone. When Tang Xiao arrives, Tang Hao orders him to flee with Tang San and remains behind to fight. 176
