Background

Shisui is an Uchiha shinobi renowned across the Shinobi World for his Body Flicker Technique, Mangekyō Sharingan, and battlefield record. He frequently undertakes dangerous assignments outside the village, including missions connected to Kirigakure, leaving him rarely able to spend time within the Uchiha compound. 53 90

He served in Konoha’s Anbu for three years and became an Anbu squad captain. Konoha also assigned him to the Shadow Guard, partly because the Third Hokage’s administration feared the threat posed by his Kotoamatsukami. 148 187 270

Initially, Shisui believed the conflict between Konoha and the Uchiha was temporary and urged trust in the village. Akashi later showed him Root documents detailing Konoha’s long-standing suppression of the Uchiha, forcing Shisui to confront the gap between his faith in the village and its treatment of his clan. 91 207
