After taking down the first drug dealer, Death One did not pause. Seizing the moment the others were stunned in shock, he accelerated and charged toward them. Since the dealers were in a long corridor, they had instinctively split into two rows, standing side-by-side.
Death One's speed was beyond that of an ordinary person; his explosive burst was comparable to that of a top-tier national athlete.
In the blink of an eye, he reached the next dealer. With a turn of his body and a swing of his military knife, the two dealers at the front were sliced open at the waist! Their upper and lower bodies remained connected by only a sliver of flesh; had the blade not been so short, they likely would have been severed in two.
Death One swept past the two "corpses" and continued his charge. The remaining four dealers knew that retreating meant death, so they decided to fight back. They swung their weapons frantically, but Death One did not block head-on. He stomped hard against the floor, launching his body into the air while twisting to the left. Due to the momentum of his rotation, his body spun three hundred and sixty degrees in mid-air.
By this time, his crossed arms had reached the height of the dealers' necks. As his body spun, the heads of the two closest dealers flew off, spraying blood into the air.
"Ugh!" Tang Shizhe, who was watching the entire uncensored feed through Death One's perspective, couldn't help but retch. The scene was simply too gruesome. Although he had seen such shots in movies, he knew those were fake.
Now, he was witnessing these people die under Death One's blade with his own eyes!
Yet, Death One felt no discomfort at the scene. He had no emotions and no thoughts; he was merely a walking weapon.
With a flash of steel, the heads of the last two dealers fell to the ground, their headless corpses still maintaining their swinging posture.
Death One performed a roundhouse kick, sending a walkie-talkie that was slipping from a dealer's hand flying into the security camera in the corridor.
Accompanied by a burst of sparks, the hemispherical camera was smashed to pieces by the impact.
In the fourth-floor security room, five dealers dressed in black saw their side failing and ran toward a corner of the room while cursing.
They had expected the dealers downstairs to handle the intruder quickly, but they never imagined their entire force would be wiped out in the blink of an eye.
"Damn it, I didn't expect to run into such a tough nut. I'll have to handle this myself," the lead dealer cursed.
"If I don't beat him into a pulp, my name isn't Wang!"
"Damn it."
They pried up the wooden floorboards in the corner, revealing three handguns wrapped in oil paper.
"I don't believe he can dodge bullets!" one dealer spat viciously onto the floor.
Of the five dealers, two held security riot shields in their left hands and knives in their right, charging at the front, while the leader and the other two followed behind with handguns.
At this moment, Death One had no idea that a five-man team was charging toward him.
Having searched the third-floor office, he successfully found the IOUs in a locked drawer. It seemed these dealers were incredibly confident in their security; these important documents weren't even locked in a safe!
Perhaps they believed no one would dare take anything from them. Their excessive confidence played into Tang Shizhe's hands; Death One easily retrieved the IOUs and documents, saving him the trouble of cracking a safe.
Upon receiving Tang Shizhe's order, Death One grabbed a lighter from the desk and set the IOUs ablaze. Beyond the papers, he ignited everything flammable in the vicinity.
Since the women previously held in the building had already escaped during the chaos, Tang Shizhe could safely let Death One burn the building down, as the fire would destroy most of the evidence.
The fire grew larger as time passed, threatening to reduce the entire room to ash.
"Damn it, those are our IOUs!" The five dealers who had reached the third floor were furious when they saw the room already billowing with thick smoke.
Those items were not simple IOUs; they served a much deeper purpose!
They had been using usury as a cover to secretly imprison women who couldn't pay back their high-interest loans, then injecting them with drugs. These women would soon become addicted and lose their minds.
By then, these women were at their mercy. The older ones could be sent to transport drugs!
As for the young and beautiful ones...
If they still had family alive, they might be forced into the sex industry; those without family would likely be sold abroad by human traffickers once the dealers grew tired of them.
"Don't be cowards! Charge and kill him!" The boss, who had rushed over from the fifth floor, shouted from behind the five dealers.
Death One, standing a few meters away from the dealers, could already see the spittle flying from the boss's mouth!
"Ah!" The two dealers with shields and knives charged at Death One. The three dealers behind them aimed their silenced handguns through the gaps between the two men.
Death One suddenly accelerated, his left leg pushing off the ground with such force that he vaulted into the air and stepped onto the wall.
This was a move Tang Shizhe had learned from movies with Tang Yi and the others. A maneuver nearly impossible in reality was as natural as breathing for Death One, whose physical coordination was maxed out.
Kicking off the wall repeatedly, Death One soared into mid-air. He curled his body into a ball, his two military knives crossed in front of his chest.
Never expecting the enemy to fly over their heads, the two dealers hesitated for a split second, just as they were about to turn around. Death One's blades slashed diagonally across their necks.
While it was impossible to decapitate them at that angle, the fatal wounds cutting from their necks down to their chests were enough to make them bleed out and die.
As soon as Death One landed, he heard three muffled gunshots. Because the three dealers' reactions were slightly sluggish, their bullets only hit the spot where Death One had been in mid-air, while he had already landed in a crouch!
After rolling forward, Death One easily dodged the trajectory, which had been a full meter away from his body. He swung his blades at the three shooters, and they were quickly and easily dispatched.
The boss was stunned, watching in disbelief. He never imagined he would see such a formidable character in real life—it was exactly like in the movies!
If he had known the police were this capable, he would have washed his hands of this business and applied for a transfer long ago!
