As she wondered, an aura suddenly appeared behind her. She was just about to dodge when a pair of slender arms wrapped around her.
"My darling Dragon Queen is alert, but not alert enough." Gu Yuena stroked her with both hands and began to savor the fragrance on her. Then she suddenly caught an unfamiliar scent, which displeased her greatly.
"Why do you smell like another woman?" Gu Yuena demanded.
Ye Guyue pushed Gu Yuena away. "Teacher arranged a marriage for me. I could only agree. Besides, do I have to tell you about my affairs?"
"What kind of attitude is that?"
"You've found a new love and forgotten the old one. You're so heartless. I was your first woman, after all."
Gu Yuena took a few steps back, smiling instead of getting angry.
She was curious who could have such a powerful charm as to seduce her woman.
"Bah!"
Ye Guyue couldn't stand it any longer. "Don't be shameless. Don't you know what tricks you used? You call me heartless, but you locked me up in the Star Dou Great Forest for a year. Why don't you mention that?"
"I did that to help you break through. Besides, I took care of your Soul Rings. You called me here, so you must need something from me. And there are quite a few other people's auras on you. Ye Guyue struggled, but when she realized it was useless, she immediately activated her Martial Soul Possession. Golden scales from the Radiant Holy Dragon covered her body.
She clenched her fist and swung at Gu Yuena.
Gu Yuena dodged in a flash, then reached out, wrapped an arm around Ye Guyue's waist, and pulled her into her embrace.
"My dear Guyue, don't be angry. I was wrong, all right?"
Gu Yuena held Ye Guyue tightly, afraid she would run off again.
"If you want me not to be angry, then help me deal with two Soul Beasts."
Ye Guyue lowered her guard. She'd known from the start that she couldn't beat Gu Yuena. Since Gu Yuena had given a little, she could give a little too.
"No problem. Which two?" Gu Yuena asked with a smile.
As long as Ye Guyue wasn't angry, that was all that mattered. She knew Ye Guyue had a grievance in her heart. After all, she'd locked her away for a whole year for no reason.
She still wanted to have a child with Ye Guyue, so soothing her little temper was only to be expected.
