Yuan En looked at the only three boys in the group and asked, "Can you... dance?"

Xie Xie spoke first, puffing out his chest and saying confidently, "Of course I can! It's just hugging and spinning around, right? I've seen it on TV."

Yuanen Yehui glanced at him, her eyes clearly conveying the words "Just as I expected."

Tang Wulin smiled and gave an ambiguous answer, "I'd say I know a little."

After the two finished speaking, all eyes turned to Yun Jingheng.

Yun Jingheng leaned against the wall, hands in his pockets, braid hanging over his left shoulder, his silver-gray suit gleaming faintly under the light.

He felt three gazes on him, lazily raised his eyelids, and asked, "Why are you looking at me?"

"You haven't answered yet," Yuanen Yehui said.

"I won't."

Yun Jingheng spoke so frankly that it made one suspect he was lying.

Xie Xie's eyes widened. "You don't know how? How could you not know how?"

Why can't I not know how?

Yun Jingheng retorted, "I haven't studied that."

"Then why were you admiring yourself in the mirror for so long in your room?!"

"Being vain and being able to dance are two different things."

Yun Jingheng interrupted him matter-of-factly, "Just because I'm dressed nicely doesn't mean I can twirl around."

Yuanen Yehui looked at him expressionlessly, remained silent for two seconds, and then asked, "What about dancing at the party later?"

"I won't jump then."

Yun Jingheng shrugged. "It's not like you have to jump."

"You're the face of Shrek."

"Huh? Since when did the academy's reputation require a second-year student like me to shoulder the responsibility?"

Yuanen Yehui was uncharacteristically taken aback, her lips moving slightly, "Where are my blueprints?"

Yun Jingheng: "..."

"Yuan En, have you seen Wu Siduo?" Tang Wulin asked Yuanen Yehui.

"Her? She ran into her childhood friend and went to chat with him. She's changing clothes in Gu Yue's room now."

Why do you all change in Gu Yue's room?

The room must smell like girls right now, how am I supposed to stay tonight?

Yun Jingheng didn't say those words aloud, but the twitching at the corner of his mouth betrayed his inner thoughts.

Xie Xie hadn't reacted yet, tilting his head and thinking for a moment, "What's wrong? Isn't it just you and Gu Yue sharing Gu Yue's room? Is it really that big of a deal that she's changing clothes?"

Yun Jingheng stared at him expressionlessly, his gaze carrying a scrutinizing look that seemed to ask, "Are you really stupid or just pretending?"

Tang Wulin coughed lightly, patted Xie Xie's shoulder, and said earnestly, "Some things, you don't need to understand, just remember them."

"Remember what?"

"Remember, Jing Heng might have trouble sleeping tonight."

Xie Xie was even more confused, "Insomnia? Why are you having insomnia?"

Yuanen Yehui spoke up calmly from the side, "Because Gu Yue's room smells of the five of us girls."

Xie Xie finally reacted, his mouth forming an "O" shape. He looked at Yuanen Yehui, then at Yun Jingheng, then back at Yuanen Yehui, finally fixing his gaze on Yun Jingheng's expressionless face. After a long pause, he managed to stammer out, "How can you be so happy?"

Yun Jingheng stared at him expressionlessly, a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth. "Happiness? Do you want to switch places with me?"

Xie Xie thought about it seriously, glanced back at Yuanen Yehui —a deep purple dress, her hair piled up, her profile cool and aloof—and then decisively shook his head, "No."

"Then shut up."

"But I still feel like you're in Versailles."

"Don't make me beat you up."

Tang Wulin smiled and shook his head, glancing at his watch. "It's almost time. Let's go to the lobby."

Just as the four people took their first steps, footsteps echoed from around the corner of the corridor.

Xu Xiaoyan was the first to turn the corner. Her light blue dress looked great on her, her braids hung loosely over her shoulders, and she held a small fan in her hand, fanning herself as she walked.

"Why are you still here? Sister Gu Yue and the others are almost ready."

"Xie Xie is envious that Jing Heng's room smells like five people," Tang Wulin succinctly summarized.

Xu Xiaoyan was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing.

"So Xie Xie is a pervert? I never would have guessed."

Xie Xie's face flushed bright red instantly, burning from the base of his neck to the tips of his ears. He jumped up on the spot, "How am I a pervert?! I'm just—I'm just stating the facts objectively!"

Xu Xiaoyan waved her fan, smiling as she looked at him. "Objectively stating the fact of 'the smell of five girls,' isn't that perverted?"

"That was what Yuan En said first!"

Yuanen Yehui replied expressionlessly, "I'm just stating facts, not expressing my feelings, while you're expressing your envy."

"Click~"

Gu Yue, Ye Xinglan, and Wu Siduo walked out of the room.

Silver-white, black, black.

Three colors, three different styles.

Gu Yue walked at the front, her silver-white dress gleaming coldly under the corridor lights. It wasn't the kind of ostentatious brightness, but rather the kind of moonlight falling on snow—cool, reserved, and aloof, yet irresistibly alluring.

The skirt hem reaches the ankles, with no extra embellishments, only two pleats at the waist to accentuate a slender waistline.

Her hair was still loose, but the silver hair clip by her ear had been replaced with a small dragon shape.

Ye Xinglan followed behind her, her black dress making her look like a sword hidden in its sheath.

The dress is a minimalist design, without lace or embroidery, featuring only clean lines and just the right amount of skin exposure.

There are two thin slits in a small area below the collarbone, where the shoulder blades are located.

Wu Siduo was the last to jump out. Her black short skirt shimmered under the lights, and the hem reached mid-thigh, revealing a pair of straight and slender legs.

She had a sparkly hair clip tucked behind her ear, making her look very confident.

The corridor fell silent for a moment.

Wu Siduo hesitated, then said, "Xie Xie... you..."

"Like an insurance salesman?" Xie Xie added expressionlessly.

Wu Siduo opened her mouth, then closed it, then opened it again, finally letting out two dry laughs. "I was going to say... your hairstyle today is quite creative."

Xie Xie touched his hair, which looked no different from usual, with a blank expression. "Are you saying that I have nothing to brag about except my hairstyle?"

"I didn't say that," Wu Siduo immediately denied, but her gaze drifted elsewhere.

Xie Xie a deep breath and turned to Yun Jingheng, "You win. From today onwards, I'm an insurance salesman. Does anyone need insurance?"

"Accident insurance, health insurance, marine insurance—we have it all! Special offer for tonight's party: buy one get one free!"

Yuanen Yehui's lips curved into a rare smile, but she quickly suppressed it, saying, "Stop fooling around."

"I'm not making a scene, I'm expanding my business."

Xie Xie solemnly pulled a napkin from his suit pocket and handed it to Yuanen Yehui as if it were an insurance policy. "Madam, would you like to consider this? The ship is rocking, it's easy to fall."

Yuanen Yehui took the napkin, folded it into a square without expression, and stuffed it back into his pocket. "Can't afford it."

"Installment payment is available."

"Not interested."

"Then I'll give you one, as a token of—"

"If you keep nagging, I'll revoke your insurance sales license."

Xie Xie was taken aback. "This thing even has a license?"

Yuanen Yehui ignored him and turned to walk towards the hall.

Xie Xie followed immediately as if he were being led by a leash, muttering, "I'll assume you've already bought it. I'll bring the policy to your room later..."

Gu Yue watched their retreating figures, a very slight smile curving her lips, before turning her gaze to Yun Jingheng.

Yun Jingheng was leaning against the wall, his hands in his pockets, his gaze lazily falling on her—or more precisely, on the silver dragon hair clip by her ear.

His expression remained unchanged, only the corners of his mouth curved slightly before he looked away, gazing towards the end of the corridor.

"Let's go, we're going to be late."

The six people walked side by side into the hall.

Gu Yue walked on his left, Ye Xinglan on his right, Xu Xiaoyan beside Gu Yue, Yuanen Yehui and Xie Xie in front, and Tang Wulin and Wu Siduo behind.

It's unclear who started this particular stance, but everyone felt it was the obvious choice.

The doors to the hall were open, and warm yellow light and music poured out, mingling with the sounds of conversation and the clinking of glasses.

The moment the eight people walked into the hall, many people turned their attention to them.

It's not because they're famous, but because these eight people standing together are just too conspicuous.

The three boys each had their own style, and the five girls each had their own beauty; yet they all walked together, as if bound together by some invisible thread.

"Who is that?" someone asked in a low voice.

"It seems to be from Shrek Academy."

"The one in the middle wearing the silver suit is just too..."

The rest of the speech was drowned out by the music.
