Yun Jingheng grabbed Chen Weitao by the collar, lightly touched the ground with his toes, and shot into the sky like an arrow.

A gravitational field silently unfolded around him, almost completely canceling out the weight of the two people; only inertia and air resistance continued to pull their bodies together.

He ascended at an incredibly fast speed, so fast that the figures of the Mutant beneath his feet turned into blurry black dots in just a few breaths, and so fast that the dark red light blades and silver-white domain fragments shrank into a faint ball of light in his field of vision.

Chen Weitao was being held by the collar, his body swaying in mid-air, his black robe fluttering in the night wind.

He didn't struggle, didn't protest, and didn't even try to grab Yun Jingheng's arm to steady himself.

He simply looked up, watching the Blood Moon draw ever closer overhead, watching the dark red moonlight pour down from the clouds, watching a scene he had never seen before, the direction of the Moon Domain core.

The palace ruins, spewing out dark red beams of light, looked like a dissected heart, still beating, when viewed from above.

Yun Jingheng's voice came from above, somewhat muffled by the wind. "Which direction?"

Chen Weitao lowered his head and took out a compass from his pocket.

The compass indicator was still spinning wildly, faster and more violently than it had on the ground, as if resisting something or responding to something.

He stared at the indicator for about three seconds, then raised his arm and pointed southeast. "Over there, that's the weakest point in the space."

Yun Jingheng adjusted the direction of gravity, his body drawing an arc in the air as he flew in the direction Chen Weitao pointed.

The figures of the Mutant on the ground rushed backward beneath their feet; the alleys, stone buildings, squares, and collapsed statues—everything became blurry shadows.

After flying for about five minutes, Yun Jingheng began to descend.

It wasn't because he wanted to descend, but because his gravitational field couldn't hold up anymore. His fifth Soul Skill had consumed too much of his Soul Power, and maintaining the flight of two people had exceeded the limit that he could currently withstand.

They landed in an open plaza.

The square was paved with grayish-white stone slabs, on which were large patches of dark red stains, like bloodstains that had dried long ago.

In the center of the square stood a huge statue, which had collapsed and broken into several pieces, scattered on the ground.

The statue's head rolled to the edge of the square, face up, eyes open, looking at the sky.

Yun Jingheng released Chen Weitao's collar, and his knees bent slightly as he landed, dissipating the impact of the fall.

His breathing was much heavier than usual, his forehead was covered in sweat, and his hands were trembling slightly.

His Soul Power was so depleted that his vision began to blur, and the square in front of him was sometimes clear and sometimes blurry in his field of vision, like a camera that could not be focused.

Chen Weitao landed in a much more disheveled manner than him.

He staggered several steps before regaining his balance, one hand supporting himself on his knee, the other pressed against his chest, gasping for breath.

"How much further? My Soul Power is running low."

"Almost there, run forward."

Yun Jingheng gritted his teeth, forcibly suppressing the surging weakness within him, and started running forward.

Chen Weitao ran ahead of him. His Soul Power consumption was not as great as Yun Jingheng's, and his condition was much better than Yun Jingheng's.

But he didn't run ahead; instead, he maintained a distance of less than three steps from Yun Jingheng.

At the end of the square was a wide avenue, flanked by collapsed buildings whose ruins cast large, irregular shadows in the moonlight.

The road was very long, so long that no end could be seen. Only a dark red pillar of light stood between heaven and earth in the distance, like a pillar connecting heaven and earth, guiding them in the direction they were going.

About half an hour later...

Chen Weitao stopped.

He stood at the end of a dirt road, in front of him was a wide open space, and in the center of the open space was an inconspicuous building.

The building is not tall, only one story, with a dome. There are several cracks in the dome, through which a dark red light shines.

The building's exterior walls were grayish-white, with large chunks of plaster peeling off to reveal the blackened bricks and stones underneath.

The building's door was open, but the doorway was dark, and it was impossible to see what was inside.

Chen Weitao turned to look at Yun Jingheng, Yun Jingheng was bent over with his hands on his knees, panting heavily.

"Is this the place?"

This is it.

Chen Weitao took out the Silvery White Metal pieces and the crystal pillar from his pocket, squatted down, and began to place them in the designated positions.

His hands stopped trembling, and his movements became crisp and clean, each one precise as if he had done it countless times.

"What's wrong with you...?"

Chen Weitao didn't look up. "I'm building a door. The Moon Domain can only be entered once, and there's no precise exit. I can only build a door, find a transit point, and finally return to the Star Luo Empire Realm."

"What? You can only enter once? Where do you transfer to?"

"The Moon Domain is special, and I don't have time to explain it to you now. As for the transit... I don't know if you've ever heard of Dragon Valley."

Yun Jingheng frowned slightly.

Dragon Valley, the most mysterious area controlled by the Tang Sect, is the last habitat of the dragon race and one of the most spatially unstable regions known on the entire continent.

Outsiders need special permission from the Tang Sect to even approach the outer perimeter of Dragon Valley, let alone enter.

"You can enter Dragon Valley?" Yun Jingheng's voice was somewhat hoarse.

"I am a member of the Tang Sect, and I know how to enter Dragon Valley. Once we land in Dragon Valley, we can immediately activate our escape route and return to the Star Luo Empire."

Chen Weitao placed the last metal piece, drew a few lines in the air with his fingers, and the metal pieces lit up at the same time. Silvery-white light overflowed from the surface of each metal piece, forming a chain of light on the ground.

"This is the only way."

Yun Jingheng rubbed the bracelet on his left wrist. "You got in like this too?"

"Yes."

Chen Weitao nodded, stood up from the ground. His legs were a little weak, and he swayed slightly when he stood up, but he quickly regained his balance.

His gaze passed over Yun Jingheng's shoulder and landed in the direction they had come from: the long dirt road, the open space, the silvery-white grass, and the collapsing city in the distance.

"He's here."

Yun Jingheng turned around; he sensed it too.

Something is approaching rapidly, very quickly, very densely.

Under the moonlight, a figure slowly walked from the end of the dirt road.

Each step was small, yet each step covered an incredible distance, like a sophisticated instrument measuring something on the ground.

It was an old man.

He wore a white robe embroidered with silver moon patterns, which shimmered faintly in the moonlight.

His hair was completely white, so white it shone, so white it was almost transparent, fluttering gently in the night breeze like a flag being blown by the wind.

His face was covered in deep wrinkles, stretching from the corners of his eyes to his temples, but his skin was not the sallow and loose skin of an old man. Instead, it was an almost transparent, porcelain-like white, so white that you could see the bluish and purple veins beneath his skin.

His eyes were golden, without pupils or irises, just a uniform, luminous gold, like two small suns set in their sockets.

Behind him, a dense swarm of Mutant surged forth.

Several thousand, or even more.

Their footsteps were perfectly synchronized, like a well-trained army. The sound of their footsteps on the stone pavement merged into a deep, rhythmic roar that made the ground tremble slightly.

"God Servant ..." Chen Weitao's voice was hoarse.
