"Roar!"
At this moment, a desperate and urgent distress signal arrived from America: "...Requesting global support!
The unknown terrifying beast (codenamed: Devourer) is destroying the East Coast!
Our attacks are completely ineffective! Repeat, requesting support! Any form of support!"
Inside the War God Palace, the crowd, having just recovered from the shock of the Thunder Dragon Emperor being killed in an instant, felt their hearts sink to the bottom once again.
Although the Thunder Dragon Emperor was terrifying, it was, after all, a "known" threat native to Earth.
But this "Golden Horned Beast," just from its appearance and its ability to ignore all attacks and devour matter, gave people a sense of despair as if a dimensional strike had arrived from the deep cosmos!
Even the Statue of Liberty had been eaten like a cracker!
What else could stop it?
Almost everyone's gaze subconsciously turned to the round figure on the screen that had just "inhaled" the Thunder Dragon Emperor.
Pybara naturally received the distress signal and Babata's warning, and he rubbed his chin.
He looked at the majestic Golden Horned Beast on the screen.
Then, he felt the massive, not-yet-fully-digested energy within his body that he had just obtained from devouring the Thunder Dragon Emperor.
As well as the restless Black Hole behind him, which seemed to have developed an interest in the "Golden Horned Beast."
"Tsk, just finished the seafood, and now a main course has arrived."
Pybara muttered, then decisively issued an order.
"Babata, calculate the fastest route.
Hong, Thunder God, target changed: America's East Coast, full speed ahead!"
"Yes, Master!"
Hong and Thunder God had no objections.
"Received! Calculating route... estimated arrival at the target airspace in 27 minutes at full speed!"
Babata responded.
The three dark silver spaceships instantly changed direction, engines at full power, turning into three blinding silver streaks of light.
With speed far beyond the comprehension of Earth's technology, they tore through the clouds over the Pacific Ocean.
They sped toward the East Coast of America on the other side of the planet!
Inside the War God Palace, everyone stared nervously at the light dots representing the three spaceships moving rapidly across the map.
As well as the near-real-time footage coming from the other side, showing the Golden Horned Beast's rampage.
It seemed that no one was very optimistic.
Setting everything else aside.
Just comparing the size of the Golden Horned Beast to Pybara, it was simply...
About an hour later.
Under the suffocating, nervous gaze of countless humans.
The three dark silver spaceships crossed the Pacific at an astonishing speed and finally arrived over the smoke-filled, devastated East Coast of America.
And that Golden Horned Beast, codenamed "Devourer," was hovering above the ruins of the once-prosperous NY Port.
Its cold, dark-gold eyes swept indifferently over the three newly arrived "little things."
There was not a ripple in its gaze, as if it were merely looking at three insignificant flying insects.
Its body, covered in mysterious, profound patterns, reflected a cold, metallic luster under the sunset, exuding a nobility and indifference derived from its bloodline.
Compared to its massive size of over a hundred meters, those three spaceships—though full of technological sophistication, were only a few dozen meters long.
And the "passengers" they carried indeed seemed insignificant.
Especially when the main spaceship's hatch opened and that round Pybara figure, wearing the Cosmic Armor, flew out and hovered in mid-air.
The atmosphere... instantly became extremely bizarre and... incongruous.
Even the American citizens who were fleeing frantically and watching this scene through surviving screens fell into a brief state of stupor.
This... this is the reinforcement that arrived?
That... capybara?
A trace of extremely anthropomorphic... confusion seemed to flash in the eyes of the Golden Horned Beast.
Its simple mind could not comprehend.
Why would such a creature, whose energy signature was not weak but whose size was so tiny and whose form was so "low-level," dare to hover alone in front of it.
"Roar--"
The Golden Horned Beast let out a low, majestic roar—not an attack, but rather a form of expulsion and warning.
An invisible pressure spread out like a tangible tidal wave, causing the remaining human structures in the distance to tremble and rattle.
Yet, Pybara seemed completely unaffected.
He even flew a bit closer, tilting his head to examine the Golden Horned Beast carefully.
He focused especially on the dark golden horn atop its head, his mental energy conveying a clear thought:
"Tsk tsk, this horn... it looks valuable at a glance, the energy signature is incredibly high. And these scales, the defensive capabilities must be top-notch; if I peel them off, they should make a few sets of fine armor."
His tone was exactly like someone picking out ingredients at a market or appraising the value of an antique.
Although the Golden Horned Beast could not understand the specific language, it clearly received the undisguised mental fluctuations of "appraisal" and "covetousness."
As a peak bloodline among the Star Behemoths, when had it ever suffered such an "insult"?
A "bug" was actually sizing it up?
"ROAR--!!!"
The Golden Horned Beast was thoroughly enraged! It hesitated no longer, its massive maw snapping open, aimed directly at the hovering Pybara!
A devouring force, far more terrifying and concentrated than when it had swallowed the Statue of Liberty, erupted instantly!
It was not a simple suction, but a law of devouring that involved the very essence of space and matter!
The space in the target area began to twist and collapse slightly.
Debris and steel rebar from the ruins below rose uncontrollably from the ground, drawn into that massive maw which seemed connected to a Black Hole in the universe!
This strike was enough to easily swallow a small mountain!
However, facing this terrifying devouring power, Pybara did not dodge; instead, he twitched his whiskers in excitement.
"Heh heh, competing in devouring? I'm an expert at this!"
As he spoke, a massive Black Hole appeared behind Pybara.
Its scale was more than ten times larger than his own body.
Even facing the Golden Horned Beast, the diameter of this Black Hole was large enough to contain it.
But since both possessed the attribute of devouring, their collision actually resulted in a stalemate for a moment.
"Oh ho, you're quite something!"
Seeing this, Pybara actually laughed.
This Golden Horned Beast should count as a very strong boss for the early stages.
It wouldn't be any fun if it were wiped out too easily.
Two devouring forces, both touching upon the essence of the laws, collided violently in mid-air!
The Golden Horned Beast's devouring power originated from its top-tier Star Behemoth bloodline talent.
It was filled with primitive brutality and a greed that consumed all things, as if it intended to chew up and digest everything in front of it, including space itself.
Pybara's Black Hole devouring was purer and more profound.
It carried the coldness and absoluteness of a celestial body, serving as the ultimate manifestation of spatial distortion and material annihilation.
"Sssss--!!!"
There was no earth-shattering roar.
There was only a strange sound of energy annihilation that made the soul tremble, and the sound of space being forcibly torn and twisted.
At the intersection of the two forces, light vanished completely, forming a region of absolute dark nothingness.
Even the images transmitted back by satellite signals began to show violent distortion and static!
The earth and ruins below, pulled by the two forces, were like a rag being ravaged by two invisible giant hands, presenting unnatural tears and upheavals!
Seawater rushed in, only to be instantly evaporated!
"Oh ho, you're quite something!"
Feeling the pressure transmitted from the Black Hole, Pybara felt no panic; instead, his dark, bright eyes burned with even greater fighting spirit.
His thoughts raced, and he stopped simply competing with the "quantity" of the Golden Horned Beast's devouring power.
Instead, he began to apply some rudimentary mysteries of spatial laws he had comprehended from the Falling Ink Star inheritance, along with more precise control over his own Black Hole!
"Now... start spinning!"
