along with a faint yet genuine, strange anticipation for the future.
Unexpectedly, the capybara made no new demands of humanity.
Instead, he once again took on the role of "savior."

Soon, they reached the waters in the depths of the Indian Ocean where the Octopus Beast Emperor held sway.

A faint, hallucinogenic mist hung over the surface, keeping ordinary creatures far away.

The Golden Horned Beast let out a provocative roar, its terrifying pressure mingling with the aura of a Starry Sky Behemoth's bloodline.
It crashed down on the waters below like a raging tsunami!

Each one stretched hundreds of meters long. They swayed slowly through the water, stirring up boundless waves!
A powerful, icy fluctuation, filled with chaotic mental power,
spread like a tide, attempting to invade the minds of the Golden Horned Beast and Capybara.
"Huh? A mental attack? Not bad."
Capybara felt slightly dizzy, as though countless noisy hallucinations were trying to flood his mind.
But they were immediately dispelled by his powerful mental strength and the Black Hole Soul Seal deep within his soul.
Little Gold merely shook his head, a hint of disdain flashing in its dark-golden eyes.
How could an illusion of this caliber shake a Starry Sky Behemoth's soul defenses?
Seeing that its mental attack had failed, outrage flashed simultaneously in dozens of the Octopus Beast Emperor's eyes.
It recognized the Golden Horned Beast. Why had this unfamiliar behemoth, which had once made it wary, appeared here?
And what was that strange little thing on its back?
But before it could figure that out, the Golden Horned Beast had already launched an attack at Capybara's signal!
"Little Gold, go! Let's take off a couple of its tentacles and see how they taste!"
Capybara stood on its back and gave the order like a commander.
"Roar!"
Little Gold roared, its enormous body like a golden meteor.
With an unstoppable, crushing momentum, it lunged at the Octopus Beast Emperor!
At the same time, golden light blazed from its single horn, which was covered in mysterious markings.
A razor-sharp golden blade of light, imbued with the law of severing, shot toward one of the giant tentacles sweeping at it!
"Raaah!"
As the Octopus Beast Emperor saw the golden blade approaching, it whipped its enormous tentacle, covered in repulsive suckers.
Rather than meeting the attack head-on, it twisted with eerie flexibility, trying to coil around the golden blade.
At the same time, several other tentacles lashed at the Golden Horned Beast's body and Capybara on its back from different directions, like giant serpents.
The barbs on the tentacles glimmered with a sinister blue poison. They tore through the air with a shrill whistle, carrying a foul sea breeze!
"Pathetic tricks!"
The Golden Horned Beast snorted. It neither dodged nor retreated as the dark-golden markings across its body suddenly lit up!
A densely concentrated energy field, seemingly capable of shutting out everything, formed around its body!
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Several tentacles, packed with terrifying force and deadly poison, slammed into the energy field, producing deep, drumlike booms.
Yet they only sent ripples through the field and couldn't break through!
The sinister blue poison was just as easily blocked and snuffed out by the field.
The instant the golden blade touched the tentacle, it erupted!
Like the sharpest law of cutting, it ignored the tentacle's flexibility and resilience, slicing effortlessly into the thick limb, which was as large as a mountain peak!
"Shrrrk—!!!"
A horrifying tearing sound rang out, followed by the Octopus Beast Emperor's agonized, distorted shriek.
A section of its purple-black tentacle, nearly a hundred meters long and covered in barbs and slime, was cleanly severed by the golden blade!
A great quantity of dark-green blood spurted from the stump, filling the air with a pungent stench.
It fell into the sea like a waterfall, staining a vast swath of water an eerie color!
"Roar!"
Little Gold gave an excited growl and opened its massive jaws.
A powerful suction pulled the severed limb, still writhing, through the air.
Then it swallowed it without hesitation!
How could a Starry Sky Behemoth's digestive system be bothered by a little poison?

The system's notification made Capybara nod in satisfaction.
"Nicely done, Little Gold! Keep going! Strip off the rest of its 'snacks'!"
The Octopus Beast Emperor was both shocked and enraged. Its strongest mental attack had been all but useless against these two.
Its vaunted physical attacks and deadly poison couldn't break through their defenses, and in the very first exchange, it had lost one of its important tentacles!
Resentment and a hint of retreat flashed in its remaining eyes as its enormous body began sinking toward the ocean floor.
At the same time, it released a thicker cloud of purple poison mist, capable of disrupting perception and vision,
along with an even stronger wave of chaotic mental force, trying to cover its escape.
"Trying to run? Did you even ask me?"
How could Capybara let his "feast" slip away just as it had reached his mouth? He leapt from Little Gold's back and hovered in midair.
"Black Hole Domain, unfold!"
A terrifying black hole, already nearly seventy meters in diameter, opened behind him!
This time, he didn't aim its devouring force directly at the Octopus Beast Emperor's massive body. Instead, he controlled the black hole
to generate a peculiar, directional composite field of "repulsion and attraction"!
The field spread like an invisible net, precisely enveloping a vast area of ocean around the Octopus Beast Emperor!
