A powerful Cosmo surged forth from within the Gemini Temple. Uchiha Madara could clearly sense that this was a Cosmo filled with malice. Unlike the ones he had felt in the Aries Temple and Taurus Temple, this Cosmo carried a distant, mysterious aura.
He entered the Gemini Temple.
Light, then darkness. Within the Gemini Temple, light and dark shifted in subtle, unfathomable ways. Uchiha Madara knew that this was caused by that evil and powerful Cosmo. To break free from the influence of this light and darkness, he would likely have to defeat the Gold Saint of the Gemini Temple.
Yet after running for a long while, Uchiha Madara saw no sign of the Gemini Gold Saint. Before him appeared a blinding flash of light. That seemed to be... the exit!
"How could that be? How could a temple controlled by such a powerful Cosmo be without a Gold Saint guarding it?"
He charged toward the light!
Before him was a staircase leading downward. The temple ahead was unmistakably the Taurus Temple he had just passed through!
"Have I returned to the starting point?"
The shifting of light and darkness, the cycle of beginning and end—this was the Gemini Temple! Under the effects of that powerful and evil Cosmo, Uchiha Madara had actually lost his way!
"Looks like I'll need to open my Heavenly Eye here as well to see through everything..."
Uchiha Madara shouted, "Sharingan, activate!"
The wheel within his pupils slowly began to spin. The faster it turned, the stronger the Sharingan's power became!
Until the Sharingan began to emit golden light!
"Heavenly Eye, Open Wide!"
The crimson Sharingan transformed into a golden Heavenly Eye! In an instant, everything was laid bare before Uchiha Madara's eyes!
That Cosmo was not emanating from the temple before him.
