Kanon stared at the bottle, both shocked and delighted!
"It seems I finally have hope of leaving this prison!"
"Sea Emperor Poseidon! For me, Kanon, to encounter you is not only my good fortune, but yours as well!"
"Awaken, Sea Emperor Poseidon! I, Kanon, shall become your Sea Dragon Marina before your throne. Don't you wish to claim the land ruled by Athena? I, Sea Dragon, shall help you..."
He had already made up his mind. He would turn Sea Emperor Poseidon into Kanon's puppet, have him ignite a war between the sea and the land, and thus allow Kanon to take revenge on Saga—and on Athena as well!
"When that time comes, I will rule the land in Sea Emperor Poseidon's stead. Athena's entire Sanctuary will belong to me, Kanon, alone! Hahahaha!"
He broke Athena's seal on the bottle! The prison at Cape Sounion instantly exploded, turning into an empty cavern!
Kanon lost consciousness amid the tremendous blast. Who knew how long passed before he awoke and found himself standing before the gates of an enormous palace.
When he looked up, he was astonished to find the sea above his head! Seven colossal pillars supported the sea in its seven directions, while at the very center of the ocean stood an even larger, sturdier pillar supporting it all.
Kanon entered the palace. Before him stood seven Scale Cloths, each shaped like one of seven sea creatures. Beyond those seven Scale Cloths was another, a god Cloth filled with divine power, placed directly before him.
Suddenly, he heard a voice. "Sea Dragon! Why do you not kneel before your emperor?"
