"Goodbye, everyone!" Uchiha Madara stood on the boat, waving to the others.
Everyone waved back and said goodbye. By then, Bai Ling'er's face was streaked with tears, and Scenery gently patted her shoulder.
Uchiha Madara watched as everyone grew farther and farther away until they slowly vanished from sight.
Aside from melancholy, Uchiha Madara also felt a slight sense of relief.

"Being alone really is nice. Too many attachments always hold back your steps," Uchiha Madara thought.
And so, one small boat and one man sailed across the boundless black sea.
"Oh no." Scenery, who was back at the organization, suddenly remembered something.
"What is it?" Bai Ling'er asked Scenery.
"After considering so many things, I still overlooked one little detail. I forgot to give Madara something to help him tell directions," Scenery said helplessly. "I hope Madara can figure out his bearings out at sea."
"Are you stupid?!" Bai Ling'er said to Scenery. "How could you forget something so important?!"
By now, Uchiha Madara had already traveled a great distance into the Dark Sea, and his speed was steadily increasing.
He had no idea how long he had been sailing, nor did he know where he was now.
The sun above him had set, while the moon's glow slowly rose.
"So a whole day has passed just like that. There's nothing at all in the sea." Uchiha Madara looked at the still pitch-black distance and muttered to himself, "Could the way back to my own world be at the bottom of the Dark Sea?"
