"I hope tomorrow will be a beautiful day." Belaque smiled and closed her eyes as well.
After an unknown amount of time had passed, Uchiha Madara began to feel as though someone was watching him. In the darkness, he constantly felt that a pair of eyes was fixed on him.
Those eyes were blood-red, nothing like human eyes. They were filled with hatred, evil, and even desire.
Startled, Uchiha Madara opened his eyes and looked around. The cave was pitch-black, and there was nothing there.
"So it was just a dream. I must have been too tense these past few days. Looks like I really need to get some proper rest," Uchiha Madara murmured to himself.
Uchiha Madara closed his eyes and fell asleep. Yet not long after he had shut them, he suddenly felt a pair of hands grab him.
To evade his eyes in the darkness—though he did not know what was inside this cave, Uchiha Madara was certain this creature would not be easy to deal with.
Uchiha Madara spun around, and in an instant, his black short spike was already at the thing's throat.
"What are you doing? Did you have a nightmare?" Belaque looked at Uchiha Madara blankly. He was actually pointing a short spike at her throat.
"Why is it you?" Uchiha Madara shook his head helplessly. "I thought something was here. Looks like I really was dreaming."
"Ever since I came to your world, I feel like I've become a little crazy," Uchiha Madara said.
"You really have gone a little crazy. You just tried to kill me," Belaque said.
"It wasn't that I wanted to kill you. I just had a dream. I felt that there was something in this cave, waiting there—a pair of blood-red eyes watching me," Uchiha Madara said.
