"Hey, miss, can you hear us?" Uchiha Madara thought for a moment, then asked the woman in front of them.
The woman still neither spoke nor moved. In this frozen, snow-covered place, she looked as though she had been frozen stiff, standing perfectly still.
"What are you talking to her for?" Belaque said speechlessly to Uchiha Madara. "Can she even understand you? What could the two of you possibly talk about?"
"I just wanted to confirm whether she really is a creature corrupted by a Magic Stone. After all, I can sense the presence of a Magic Stone on her," Uchiha Madara said.
"But you should also know that what creatures corrupted by Magic Stones crave most is eating people. Yet this one doesn't seem to be making any move at all," Uchiha Madara said.
"I think we need to revise our understanding. Not every creature corrupted by a Magic Stone craves eating people above all else," Belaque said.
"At the very least, the reason we thought that way was simply because we know too little about Magic Stones," Belaque said.
"It's very possible that things are nothing like what we imagined," Belaque said.
"I started finding it strange back when we encountered that old mage in Red Rock City," Uchiha Madara said.
"After he was corrupted by the Demon God, he didn't attack humans. Instead, he turned around and left. Clearly, he wasn't interested in eating people," Uchiha Madara said.
"Are you ready to make a move? There's most likely a Magic Stone inside her body, but you need to think carefully about what to do. Neither of us is free of desire," Belaque said.
"If you knock the Magic Stone out of that woman's body and the two of us see it, that'll be troublesome too," Belaque said.
