"Actually, I don't know either, since this is my first time here as well. But we've been walking for so long, and there just happens to be a city up ahead, so it must be Winterfort," Belaque said.
"That's wonderful." Belaque looked at Winterfort in the distance and said excitedly, "We finally made it here, after so many unpleasant experiences along the way."
"At this pace, once we get down the mountain, we should reach Winterfort the next day, right?" Uchiha Madara said happily. "My third Magic Stone will soon be in my hands. If things continue at this pace, I may be able to leave your world in a month at most."
"I hope things turn out as you imagine. Let's go, toward the distance," Belaque said to Uchiha Madara with a smile.
"I wonder whether our Blue-Feathered Griffin has returned by now. It probably has. Without the two of us on its back, it should be able to fly quite quickly," Uchiha Madara said.
"It should be at Red Rock City by now." Belaque thought for a moment before saying, "I wonder if Kaguolet will be waiting for it there. Or perhaps it went straight back to Eternal Sun Royal City."
"And we don't know what Kaguolet will think if he discovers that only the Blue-Feathered Griffin returned to his side," Uchiha Madara said helplessly.
The two chatted as they walked. After so many days, Uchiha Madara and Belaque had finally caught sight of their destination, and they continued on their way in high spirits.
