A semicircular barrier enveloped the entire room. Belaque could sense two people inside: one man, who was likely the eldest prince, and a woman tied to a pillar.
Belaque could clearly sense that the woman's body was twisted at an unnatural angle, and even the way she had been bound was bizarre. The eldest prince stood behind her.
The eldest prince also sensed that someone actually dared to openly spy on his room, so he immediately opened the door and walked out.
"Kaguolet?" The eldest prince looked at the person standing outside the door, never having expected the visitor to be Kaguolet, the Eternal Sun Royal City's proudest Holy Knight.
Kaguolet looked at the disheveled eldest prince. His clothes were a mess, and he wore nothing at all below the waist.
"Eldest Prince," Kaguolet said.
"Did Father send you to summon me? Did something happen?" the eldest prince asked Kaguolet.
"No. I heard someone crying for help within the Royal City, so I came to see what was happening," Kaguolet replied.
"You could hear her?" The eldest prince gave a soft laugh. "I clearly gagged that woman. Looks like I need to teach her another lesson so she learns to behave."
"All right, thanks for the reminder. I know I was making too much noise, and it may have a negative impact on the Royal City. I'll be more careful next time," the eldest prince said to Kaguolet with a smile.
"This isn't a matter of impact. Someone is being humiliated. I hope you can let her go, for the sake of preserving the Royal City's dignity," Kaguolet said.
"Let her go? You may have misunderstood us." The prince said to Kaguolet, "Do you know what our relationship is? Do you know why I became like this?"
