"So you mean it's because of me." Uchiha Madara said with a smile. "I wouldn't say my luck is bad, but it certainly isn't that great either. From now on, just pin all these things on me."
"I really envy you two." Carter Binda said as he watched Uchiha Madara and Belaque bicker.
"To have a life like yours truly makes for a happy old age." Carter Binda said with a smile.
"Stop making fun of the two of us." Belaque said.
The three of them walked slowly through the freezing environment as they talked.
Uchiha Madara suddenly felt that this was truly a nice feeling. He had always been alone, but now, having someone to talk to along the way felt rather good too.
After walking for a long time, the three arrived at a vast expanse of flat ground.
Uchiha Madara looked at the place before him, which was far larger than Mirror Lake. Its pristine surface had frozen into a transparent sheet of ice, and this ice was truly much thicker than it had been at Mirror Lake last time.
"Wow..." Belaque said in pleasant surprise. "This place is really beautiful. In such a pure white setting, it feels like a mirror in the sky."
"The scenery here is indeed beautiful, and this is also the end of our patrol route." Carter Binda said to Belaque with a smile. "This is where we usually rest during patrols as well."
"The scenery is certainly nice." Uchiha Madara said with a smile as he handed the treasure map to Carter Binda. "But on such beautiful scenery, where exactly is the location marked on our treasure map now?"
Carter Binda naturally understood what Uchiha Madara meant. He took the map and looked it over, then returned it to Uchiha Madara.
