"There are no regrets in an incomplete life. Sometimes, regrets can also bring you very beautiful memories," Uchiha Madara said.
"Where are we going next?" Ximaida looked at Uchiha Madara and asked. "Are we heading straight to Golden Canyon now?"
"Being young really is nice—you have so much energy." Uchiha Madara still wore an envious expression. "I'm wondering whether we should eat before we go."
"Aren't you hungry now?" Uchiha Madara asked Ximaida.
"I don't really feel anything right now. I'm not hungry at all, because I ate way too much yesterday," Ximaida said.
"You didn't stop me at all yesterday. You just let me keep grabbing food and eating by myself." Ximaida rubbed her stomach and laughed.
"I didn't know what your physical condition was like. Didn't you say you'd been hungry for two days? And seeing the way you were wolfing everything down, I really couldn't bear to interrupt you," Uchiha Madara said to Ximaida.
"Then let's set off now," Ximaida said.
Uchiha Madara and Ximaida slowly walked downstairs. Though it was only morning, the little tavern was already packed with customers.
Uchiha Madara watched as the tavern waiter approached him and Ximaida with a broad smile.
Uchiha Madara spoke first. "Your business is really good here. There are always so many people."
"It's only been like this for the past couple of days," the waiter said to Uchiha Madara.
"We want to take a look at Golden Canyon. Do you know where the route is?" Uchiha Madara asked.
"That's great. The two of you won't have to be lonely," the waiter said.
"We won't have to be lonely?" Ximaida did not understand
