"Besides, the two of us are somewhat at odds." Uchiha Madara looked at Shanmen Shikao. "So only one of us can survive."
"Look at yourself now," Shanmen Shikao said.
"Do you think there is still any need for a battle between us?" Shanmen Shikao asked.
Hearing Shanmen Shikao's words, Uchiha Madara smiled. "From the very beginning until now, it has only ever been the two of us."
"You've ended up like this. Do you think you can still stand?" Shanmen Shikao asked.
Shanmen Shikao looked at Uchiha Madara, unable to understand where he got such confidence.
The man before him was already struggling on the brink of death. Shanmen Shikao simply had not wanted to make a move.
Shanmen Shikao felt that if he did make a move, he could end Uchiha Madara's life within a second.
The reason Shanmen Shikao had not acted until now was because he truly felt that Uchiha Madara was a talent worth cherishing.

"Is there any need for you to know now? Do you want to take my answer with you to hell?" Shanmen Shikao asked.
"There's something I don't understand." Uchiha Madara's body was growing weaker and weaker.
"You said yourself that you've lived for thousands of years. I would think that you would have long since become indifferent to power and desire," Uchiha Madara said.
