"I can assure you, this has nothing to do with the map." Uchiha Madara smiled at the old man. "Though I don't know what happened, I still hope you can tell me."
"Can you let me see your map?" the old man asked with a smile.
Uchiha Madara nodded. He felt there was no harm in showing the old man the map. It wasn't as if the old man could grab it and run off with it.
Uchiha Madara handed the map in his hand to the old man. After taking it, the old man examined it closely. Seeing his expression, Uchiha Madara noticed that the old man looked utterly astonished.
"I always thought you were human, but why do you have something belonging to the Night Elves? Are you a Night Elf?" the old man asked Uchiha Madara.
Uchiha Madara was speechless after hearing this. He had not expected everyone who saw the mark in his hand to recognize it.
"I didn't expect you to recognize the Night Elf insignia," Uchiha Madara said.
"That was many years ago. I had some dealings with the Night Elves," the old man said.
"This does belong to the Night Elves. A friend gave it to me," Uchiha Madara said.
"Your boyfriend wouldn't happen to be Xing En, the Dark Ranger of the Elzeran Continent, would he?" the old man asked Uchiha Madara with a smile.
After hearing the old man's words, it was Uchiha Madara's turn to look astonished. He had not expected the old man not only to recognize the Night Elf insignia, but also to know that Xing En was the one who had given him this map.
"How did you know that?" Uchiha Madara asked in confusion. "Do you know him?"
The old man shook his head and smiled.
