Uchiha Madara smiled. "I didn't expect you to be the hungry one, old man. I thought you were a resident here."
"I'm just a passerby as well. I'm also in a hurry to get to Dandelion City. I haven't eaten anything for several days on the road. When I saw this lake today, I thought I could catch some fish to eat, but I didn't expect there to be nothing at all in the water," the old man said.
Uchiha Madara was speechless as he looked at the old man. He had not expected the old man to be even hungrier than he was.
"If we're both this hungry, then I won't tell you to put down your fishing rod," Uchiha Madara said.
"I've relied on this fishing rod to fill my stomach these past few days. If I put it down, then I really won't have anything to eat," the old man said unwillingly.
"If you want to eat fish, why do you have to use a fishing rod? Can't you catch fish another way?" Uchiha Madara said to the old man with a smile.
The old man looked at Uchiha Madara and asked, "Do you young people have some good idea?"
"Why not just go down and catch them directly?" Uchiha Madara said.
After hearing Uchiha Madara, the old man shook his head helplessly. "It's no use. There isn't a single fish in this river. I don't know what's going on either."
"How is that possible? How could such a large lake not have a single fish? It's only because you haven't caught any," Uchiha Madara said.
"There really aren't any. I've been fishing here for over two hours, but I haven't caught a thing," the old man said.
"Maybe you're using the wrong method," Uchiha Madara said
