After Little Fishman signed his name, the corner of Uchiha Shin's mouth curled into a faint smile.
The moment Little Fishman saw that smile, his heart trembled with unease. But he did not care. He did not believe Izumi Uchiha could catch the sun.
Uchiha Shin rested his head on his hands, lay atop the stone stele, and closed his eyes.
"Are you going to sleep?" Little Fishman asked from the side.
"Yeah. I flew for so long to get here that I'm tired. I'm going to sleep for a while, so don't disturb me," Uchiha Shin said.
Little Fishman stared at Uchiha Shin, his eyes filled with confusion.
But he did not ask any further questions. He simply swam around in the nearby seawater as he waited.
It was nighttime. Gradually, dawn broke, and the sun was about to rise.
Little Fishman came to Uchiha Shin's side and pushed him awake.
"It's daylight now. Hurry up and catch the sun."
"No rush. I'll sleep a little longer. Wake me at noon," Uchiha Shin said, turning over and continuing to sleep.
"I'm kindly reminding you. When the sun has just risen, its temperature is not at its highest. That is the easiest time to catch it. Although someone guards the sun, as long as you can charge through, you'll have a chance," Little Fishman said.
Uchiha Shin did not go. Though the temperature was not at its highest yet, it was still overwhelmingly intense for him.
Little Fishman was even more puzzled, but he did not concern himself with it. This was Uchiha Shin's business, not his.
When noon arrived, Uchiha Shin opened his eyes, stretched lazily, and looked up at the sun hanging in the sky. It was scorching hot.
"You're up?" Little Fishman looked coldly at Uchiha Shin.
