"Patriarch Hongjun, now that you seek greater power, do you want to break through to a higher realm and see whether you can surpass the Heavenly Dao?" Uchiha Shin asked after listening to Patriarch Hongjun.
"You could say that." Patriarch Hongjun smiled faintly.
Patriarch Hongjun indeed intended to surpass the Heavenly Dao, but the Heavenly Dao was not something that could be surpassed so easily.
"A person's thoughts change depending on the position they stand in. You have now reached the realm of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, so your thoughts must surely differ from those you had at the beginning. Patriarch Hongjun stared back at Uchiha Shin. After thinking for a while, he said, "Mystic Spirit King, just as I said earlier, the position you occupy determines what you think. From where you stand, naturally you would not wish for such a thing to happen. But from where I stand, I would be willing to sacrifice the entire Three Realms in exchange for greater power."
