Background / History
Mū served as Iwagakure's Second Tsuchikage. His teacher was Ishikawa, the First Tsuchikage; he also trained Ishikawa's grandson, Ōnoki. In Konoha's tenth year, Mū personally led Ōnoki to Konoha when Iwagakure requested diplomatic relations with the village. 761 887
At a later point, Mū and the Second Mizukage, Hozuki Gengetsu, confronted Uchiha Shin. The two Kage were overwhelmingly outmatched and killed without being able to effectively resist; Mū's death remained a defining source of fear for both men even after their revival. 888 897 1272 1274
During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kabuto revived Mū through the Impure World Reincarnation. Under Kabuto's control, Mū summoned Uchiha Madara to the battlefield and was deployed alongside him against the Allied Shinobi Forces. 1273 1275

Personality
Mū is composed and pragmatic in battle. Even when facing Uchiha Madara's meteor, he immediately considered the consequences for himself and his fellow reanimated fighter rather than reacting impulsively. 1278
His memories of Uchiha Shin's power left a lasting impression on him. Upon seeing Shin again, Mū immediately recalled the absolute defeat that he and the Second Mizukage had suffered in life. 1274
Abilities & Skills
Dust Release
As the Second Tsuchikage, Mū possesses Dust Release, a Kekkei Tōta capable of erasing targets with blazing white chakra attacks.
- Fought Ōnoki with a white-light technique powerful enough to erase several stone pillars in passing. 1267
- Combined his Dust Release with Ōnoki's in the Dual Atomic Dismantling Jutsu. 885
- His Dust Release is dangerous enough that Ōnoki avoided using it near allied forces when Madara stood among them. 1277
Division Technique
Mū can divide himself into two genuine bodies rather than creating ordinary clones.
- Both divided bodies are real and can act independently. 1275
- Each body possesses half of Mū's original power after division. 1275
- Ōnoki initially believed Mū had been sealed before realizing that a divided body remained active. 1275
Earth Style
Mū uses Earth Style for deception, defense, and close-range combat.

Impure World Reincarnation Body
After being revived by Kabuto, Mū could recover from destruction as long as the summoning remained active.
- He was caught beneath Madara's meteor strike but later reformed from Impure World Reincarnation dust. 1278 1279
