Ao recounted the entire story. Terumi Mei and her daughter were both somewhat surprised. The four of them thought the whole thing had gone far too smoothly.
"Could this be a trap?" Mirai wondered.
"A trap?" Terumi Mei did not understand what he meant. "What do you mean by a trap?"
Mirai could not explain why. It was only his intuition telling everyone... that something was not right.
Everyone remained puzzled until, later on, Terumi Mei's father came up with a clue.
"What do you think... Yagura wants to become the Fourth Mizukage?"
"Father, you mean... after overthrowing the current Mizukage, Yagura wants to succeed him as the Fourth Mizukage?" Terumi Mei asked.
"Yes, I think so. With Yagura's abilities and the strength of his clan, after overthrowing the Third Mizukage, he would be the best candidate in the village!"
After hearing that, Mirai nodded in agreement. "Makes sense, makes sense! No wonder he agreed so happily. It seems Yagura had been planning this for a long time, but something happened to Terumi Mei before he found an Alliance with you father and daughter!"
