Uchiha Fugaku turned around and walked into the house without another word, and after exchanging a glance, Mirai and Uchiha Itachi followed him inside.

Once inside, Uchiha Fugaku sat down at the head of the table and said to Mirai and Uchiha Itachi, "Itachi, Mirai, you two should sit down as well."

As Mirai and Uchiha Itachi took their seats, Uchiha Fugaku began, "Since you have already awakened your eyes, Mirai, as the head of the Uchiha Clan, it is only natural that I explain the origins of the Sharingan to you, and help you understand exactly what your Sharingan is. I had originally intended to wait until Itachi awakened his before explaining it, but since you are both here, you may as well listen together."

"Yes! Thank you, Father!" Uchiha Itachi replied.

"In the ninja world, there exist all manner of special ninjutsu. These techniques can only be utilized by the small minority who possess a unique constitution. Because of this special physiology, these ninjas are granted strength far exceeding that of an average ninja. This ability is passed down through bloodlines, allowing descendants to inherit such power, and this is what we call a Kekkei Genkai."

"The Kekkei Genkai possessed by our Uchiha Clan is the Sharingan. It stands at the pinnacle even among the many Kekkei Genkai, and within the Uchiha Clan, only a very small number of members possess it. Our ancestors relied on the Sharingan to carve out a formidable reputation in the ninja world, which is why our Uchiha Clan holds such a noble status within Konoha."

"The Sharingan is one of the three great dojutsu in the ninja world; the other two are the Byakugan and the Rinnegan. Aside from the legendary Rinnegan of the Sage of Six Paths, which no one has ever actually seen, the Byakugan is the eye possessed by the Hyuga Clan here in Konoha. It can perceive the chakra pathways within the human body and possesses long-range observation capabilities with a three-hundred-sixty-degree field of vision. While it is suited for reconnaissance, its combat capability cannot compare to our Sharingan."

"The Sharingan is divided into the One-Tomoe, Two-Tomoe, and Three-Tomoe stages. The more tomoe, the greater the power. The One-Tomoe state grants the power of insight; you saw Itachi's next move just now, which is why you were able to react in advance."

Uchiha Fugaku turned his gaze toward Mirai, who nodded and said, "Yes, I saw Itachi's movement, so I was able to exploit the timing difference."

Uchiha Fugaku nodded and continued, "That is the most basic ability of the Sharingan—the ability to see through certain taijutsu. Once you reach the Two-Tomoe or Three-Tomoe stage, you will be able to observe more clearly, perceive the opponent's chakra pathways, use genjutsu to hypnotize enemies, and copy non-Kekkei Genkai ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu. Do you both understand?"

Mirai and Uchiha Itachi both nodded. Uchiha Fugaku's explanation was very clear. Having watched Naruto countless times, Mirai naturally knew exactly what level of Kekkei Genkai the Sharingan was—the so-called Eye of the Sage, the strongest eye. In truth, Mirai knew far more about the Sharingan than Uchiha Fugaku did.

Uchiha Fugaku turned and took a scroll from a drawer, placing it in front of Mirai. Mirai was slightly taken aback and asked, "Clan Head, this is?"

"This scroll records the process by which some members of the Uchiha Clan awakened their Two-Tomoe and Three-Tomoe, as well as techniques for using the Sharingan from the One-Tomoe to Three-Tomoe stages, along with some simple Fire Style ninjutsu."

Upon hearing this, Mirai was shaken. Everything Uchiha Fugaku had said earlier was common knowledge to him, but this scroll held immense value.

The process of awakening the Two-Tomoe or Three-Tomoe didn't matter much, but the techniques for using the Sharingan were crucial for Mirai. Although he possessed the Sharingan now, his usage was still clumsy. The Sharingan was far from simple, and if used correctly, it could increase his combat power tenfold or even a hundredfold.

Then there were the Fire Style ninjutsu. Although Mirai had a system shop where he could buy any ninjutsu, it required points. Why spend money when you can get it for free? That would be foolish. This scroll was a treasure.

"Clan Head, this is far too precious." Although Mirai wanted it, he still offered a polite refusal first.

"Accept it. There are many such items within the clan, and it is what you deserve as a member of the Uchiha Clan. Have you considered moving into the Uchiha residential district? I can find you the best teachers. With your talent, I believe you will soon become a powerhouse within the Uchiha Clan," Uchiha Fugaku continued. He did not want a talent like Mirai to go to waste.

He believed that someone who understood their own limitations would surely progress. Furthermore, as Mirai said, he was young and needed to build a foundation; combat training would come after graduation, and by then, the academy would assign a ninja mentor, so there was plenty of time. Perhaps, in time, Mirai would change his mind.
