The Importance of Chakra Refinement Speed

Not long after, Yashui woke up. The Three-Legged Golden Crow would not be too heavy-handed with its own disciple.

"How are you feeling, Yashui?" the Three-Legged Golden Crow asked with an indifferent expression.

If the ninja with an extraction speed of 40 units per second only took two seconds to perform the jutsu for the sake of speed, it would result in using only 80 units of chakra to launch a jutsu that required 100 units. This would decrease the power of the ninjutsu and might even lead to failure.

This was the importance of chakra extraction speed. Of course, extraction speed needed to be coordinated with output speed; if you extracted a bunch of chakra but didn't output it into the ninjutsu, it was no different from not extracting it at all.

Only when the chakra extraction speed and output speed were fast enough did practicing hand seal speed become meaningful; otherwise, it would be embarrassing if the seals were finished but the chakra wasn't ready.
