Everyone's Reaction

"You all know that a ninja squad is generally composed of four people. When facing difficulties, the strength of a single individual appears humble. However, do not forget that you have three teammates; only by uniting and cooperating with your partners can you defeat the enemy together. Take today, for example: the three of you cooperated once, and you defeated me, an elite jonin. You are comrades, and under no circumstances should you fight amongst yourselves." Choza then began his ideological and political education. This was the consistent style of Konoha.

Although Choza agreed that the three had passed the test and would complete missions with him, in reality, the only one Choza was truly satisfied with was Sarutobi Yashui. Among these three, everyone was unwilling to give up their own interests; only Sarutobi Yashui had united and coalesced the three of them. As for Hachiko and Xun, neither of them had performed particularly well.

Xun had attacked her own teammate from the very beginning. Had it been a stricter teacher, the three of them would have been sent packing back to the Ninja Academy the moment Xun made a move against Hachiko.

After defeating Choza, Hachiko had bullied Xun and Sarutobi Yashui with an overbearing attitude; such behavior would not have passed muster with any other teacher.

Fortunately, their teacher was Choza. Although he appeared very strict, he was actually a teacher with a sharp tongue but a soft heart. If it had been any other teacher, he would have kicked them out long ago.

Perhaps in the original Naruto story, there had been such an undescribed team. However, judging by the fact that there were only nine graduates in Naruto's year, the team that was not depicted in the original work likely did not even pass under a teacher as soft-hearted as Choza. Perhaps if Sarutobi Yashui had not intervened in time, the result would not have been a pass either.

After listening to Choza's lecture, both Xun and Hachiko lowered their heads, their faces flushed red. They looked at Sarutobi Yashui with gratitude; if not for him, the two of them would have truly been sent back to the Ninja Academy. This time, both Xun and Hachiko owed Sarutobi Yashui a favor.

The test ended just like that. But the aftermath of the test was not yet over.

Due to the battle, Sarutobi Yashui and Xun were injured. Sarutobi Yashui's left arm was fractured, and even with the best medical care in Konoha, it would require a week of recovery. Xun's situation was worse; her liver, spleen, and kidneys were slightly damaged. In addition to a week of rest, she would not be able to engage in strenuous exercise for another month.

Hachiko and Choza also sustained minor injuries of varying degrees, though neither of them required hospitalization or rest. When the four of them arrived at Konoha Hospital as a team, the medical staff could not believe these injuries were caused by a training exercise. They assumed that Team 12, having just become genin, had gone off to take on a B-rank mission.

Under the speculation and suspicion of the medical staff, Choza settled his three students in. Afterward, he headed to the office of the Third Hokage. Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai Yuhi were all waiting there for Choza.

"Choza, you're too slow. Did a small test really take that long?" Kurenai Yuhi glanced at Asuma; the two of them seemed to have something urgent to attend to.

"The students are too strong; there was nothing I could do about it," Choza said helplessly.

"Are you saying that you sparred with your students, and as a result, you were beaten until your clothes were in tatters and even your armor was broken?" Upon hearing Choza's words, Kakashi put his Icha Icha Paradise back into his ninja tool pouch. Kakashi was still quite interested in Choza's squad.

"Yes," Choza recalled. "Hachiko has excellent talent for traps and a foundation in taijutsu that has reached the level of a genin. As for Xun's staff techniques and Welcome Senju, there is no need to mention them; you know this best, Asuma."

Asuma nodded. He also knew how to use Welcome Senju; it was taught to him by his good friend, Chiriku, the head monk of the Fire Temple. "Since Xun can use Chiriku's technique, her explosive power in the short term should be at the level of a chunin."

Choza nodded. "There is one more, Sarutobi Yashui of the Uchiha Clan. Although his combat power is not the most outstanding, he is very balanced in every aspect."
