Tang Liu had known he would ask that, but he had no intention of answering, since doing so would expose his identity prematurely. He simply said, "Won't you know once the rules for the New Student Assessment come out? Failing that, take a good look back through those memories of yours."
Dai Yunze immediately gave him a dead-fish stare. "Riddlers, get out of my Shrek!"
Tang Liu resisted the urge to play along with the joke and chose to remain silent.
Still, if Dai Yunze knew Tang Liu's identity, he would probably be frightened into fleeing Shrek himself.
Seeing that Tang Liu had stopped responding, Dai Yunze withdrew his attention from his Sea of Spirit.
He tucked the bamboo slip back into his pocket, then looked toward the approaching school gate and asked Tang Qing beside him, "Hey, have you ever been to Shrek City?"
Tang Qing shook his head. "No. When I got here, I was busy signing up. How would I have had time to wander around the city?"
Dai Yunze nodded lightly. "Let's hurry and get dinner outside. I wonder if what those upperclassmen said is true."
Tang Qing said, "So many people are heading out. It should be."
While the two walked and chatted, Tang Ya happened to arrive outside Shrek Academy's east gate with Huo Yuhao and set out the grill and all the other equipment for his grilled fish stall.
