Background

Dai Yunze was a transmigrated child born into the White Tiger Duke’s household. After his family fell from favor, he lived with his mother and younger twin brother, Huo Yuhao, in a dilapidated woodshed under the Duchess’s oppression. He stole food, pushed Yuhao to exercise, brought him to literacy lessons, and searched for ways to improve his diet, all to give Yuhao a better chance at a powerful Martial Soul awakening. 387

At six, Dai Yunze was nearly killed by a black Soul Power attack before Long Xiaoyao intervened. Terrified that exposure would endanger his mother and Yuhao, he initially refused to meet the White Tiger Duke. Long Xiaoyao instead challenged his fear, offered him discipleship, and promised him the strength to eventually take revenge on the Duchess. Dai Yunze accepted him as master. 409

After five years of training, Dai Yunze returned to the Duke’s Residence. Dai Hao recognized him through a Martial Soul display and blood test, accepting his explanation that Long Xiaoyao had saved and trained him. 411 He later entered Shrek Academy under Tang Liu’s missions, while concealing his connection to Huo Yuhao and quietly giving his brother financial support. 415 417 421

His performance at Shrek earned him core disciple status despite his secrecy. Shrek’s senior leadership identified him as a possible wielder of Ultimate Darkness and later selected him as the strongest candidate for a revived “Eighth Member” role. 469 540

Dai Yunze has deep azure eyes, black hair that gradually turned dark gold after his Martial Soul awakening, and a lean but well-trained build. When he uses the God-Eating Evil-Eyed White Demon Tiger, his hair becomes black and white in tiger-like stripes. 446 475
