Let me explain why there had been no updates for so long. Thank you all for listening to me ramble on.
The hiatus had started around October last year. It had been a full seven months by now. [facepalm]
Generally speaking, ever since this book was published and the author finished the college entrance exam, updates had only been more or less continuous for one or two months around the winter and summer breaks. So I believe those of you who had been following all along were already quite experienced with the sudden hiatus around the October National Day holiday. [facepalm] But last year was different. After the updates stopped in October, there really hadn't been a single update afterward. Looking back now, the author really felt at a loss. [facepalm]
Normally, updates should have resumed during the winter and summer breaks after each semester ended. But there were no updates during this year's winter break, and it had even been delayed until now, only resuming in May. I truly felt sorry for everyone, especially knowing that you had still been waiting.
How should I put it? After seven months without updating, the author felt that there seemed to be some issues, from the ending of this book's Douluo I arc all the way to where the Douluo II plot had reached now. It just didn't feel quite right. Especially in the Douluo II arc, there was the issue of Dai Yunze's character setup.
The Dai Yunze I had envisioned was full of contradictions in the early stages. With the deadly premise that "once the Timeline deviates, he will be erased," he wanted to interfere with certain avoidable accidents in the original plot, yet did not dare to interfere.
There should originally have been more detailed depictions of that premise.
