In the office of Du Weilun, the dean of instruction for Shrek Academy's Martial Soul Department, Dai Yunze looked utterly bewildered as he stared at Du Weilun behind his desk.
Du Weilun adjusted his glasses and relayed Yan Shaozhe's instructions to the youth before him one by one. "That's right. Fourteen days have passed since you went to obtain your Soul Ring. Dean Yan and Dean Xian found you on the fifth day. At the time, they discovered you unconscious in the forest, but there were no signs of injury. After examining you, they found that your Soul Power had also broken through level forty, so they brought you back first. But after that, you remained unconscious, showing no signs of waking. Later, following examination and speculation by the academy's senior staff, they concluded that you had likely entered a state similar to Deep Meditation, and you only woke up today."
Dai Yunze still looked confused. "Is that so?"
Du Weilun asked curiously, "You don't remember why you fell unconscious?"
Dai Yunze hesitated before saying, "I only remember being chased by that Evil Soul Master."
Though Du Weilun remained curious, he did not press further. He merely said, "Dean Yan asked me to inquire about your fourth Soul Ring once you woke up. So, what Soul Beast did you hunt for your fourth Soul Ring? After all, powerful Soul Beasts with spiritual attributes are not easy to find."
Since it was not exactly a secret that could not be revealed, Dai Yunze did not hide it. He told Du Weilun where his fourth Soul Ring had come from and how old it was. Naturally, he would not casually reveal the existence of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. Just as he had not mentioned what happened after
