After several rounds of renovation and construction, Night-Kirin City, the eastern and western borders, and the town of Rothe now had officially built hotels. Each hotel had six floors and was equipped with a banquet hall, restaurant, recreation hall, bar, pool, garden, and space for caring for Magic Beast mounts.
All the guest rooms were divided into three types: six-meter-high loft suites, with adjoining 2.4-meter-high Mana-Less rooms; three-meter-high suites specially for mid- and low-level Mana-Wielders; and standard rooms. Besides housing merchant caravans, these hotels also served as the first lodging for some Gallop Family relatives who had come to join them, as well as wandering knights.
Following the standards of star-rated hotels from his hometown, Landen standardized and managed the furniture, lighting, and service for every room, requiring the Night-Kirin City main branch to provide unified training, daily supervision, and financial oversight for the three branch hotels.
The chain model was not unfamiliar to Shas, but after visiting several rooms and chatting with a few attendants, he keenly noticed how highly consistent the arrangements were in every room, and how professional the attendants' attitude toward him was. Although the word "standardization" had no ready-made concept in the Camel-folk's mind, this hotel gave him a faint sense of it.
