Goblin civilization had endured for tens of thousands of years, and their libraries possessed remarkably complete retrieval and preview systems. Metal Magic Arrays were embedded in the metal bookshelves; with a touch of one's hand, one could use thought to inspect the catalogue of every metal sheet on the entire shelf.
After roughly browsing through them, Landen said to Sophia and Johnny, "Sophia, find some time to bring Redbird here with Johnny and study Goblin magic patterns and magic-power transmission."
"Mm-hmm!" Sophia nodded furiously. "This is wonderful! I'm sure it won't be long before our Magic Furnaces can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Goblins' creations!"
The magical exploration projects within Landen's territory had now been divided into several tiers according to their confidentiality and the level of the worlds they involved.
First came the magical research concerning the Goblin era. They had two surviving Goblins who had once been Demigods and had now reached High-Rank, along with a considerable number of technical documents from the Goblin era. Sophia and Johnny were the mainstays of this research project, and their priority was upgrading the new-generation Magic Furnaces and linking the furnaces together.
Because living Goblin Legends were far too conspicuous, the secrecy surrounding this project was equivalent to that of Landen's Divine Kingdom in his dreams. At present, only the Great Fairies, Wendy, Lily, Sophia, and Johnny knew about it. Even Gleia was unaware.
