"Are they all Junior Mages?" Jenny's eyes widened as she finally realized what was wrong. Apart from Xialing, all the young mages before her were Junior Mages. "Where are they getting their magic power?"
Jenny looked carefully around the assembly line and finally spotted several Exquisite Orbs floating in the air. She recognized them: every Meditation Room in every region had these orbs.
The orbs formed a vast area that encompassed all the mages, including Xialing. Within it, magical elements flowed in an orderly fashion through the small Exquisite Orbs on the children's chests.
"So the magical elements the children are controlling are all coming from the Magic Web, gathered by Landen's Exquisite Orbs. And the magic they actually cast is just controlling already-formed Mage Hands to perform fixed assembly tasks?"
Looking at the children before her, Jenny finally understood why Night-Kirin City could sell its Magic Pattern Cabinets for 25 Gold Coins and still turn a profit. Work that had once required at least an Intermediate Mage could now be done by Junior Mages in Night-Kirin City, and there were an order of magnitude more Junior Mages than Intermediate Mages.
This was only the second assembly team outside the warehouse. The first team had been assembled before the auction even began and had already produced over a hundred Magic Pattern Cargo Containers.
"How does it look? This was my idea for Wendy!" Landen came over with a smug smile, boasting to Jenny.
