More Korhal Revolutionary Army soldiers clad in crimson Power Armor stormed into the 60th floor of the Sky Tower, whose upper structure had been completely destroyed. Gauss Rifle roared, and thousands of spiked rounds, copper bullets, and B2-C concussion rounds rained down on the red-haired Ghost operative's invisible Psionics shield, with the falling bullets piling up at her feet.

The young Corporal Faraday calmly and collectedly commanded his troops, even as they faced Psionics they had never heard of before.

Like many of Augustus's officers, Faraday was promoted from private to sergeant almost overnight, all because of his loyalty to Augustus.

Augustus found hundreds of Faraday among the more than one million members of the Korhal Revolutionary Army and foreign troops, and eventually located this young man who was only twenty years old by comparing photos, places of origin, and even voices.

As the commander of Augustus's guard, Faraday was highly trusted, and many believed it was only a matter of time before he rose through the ranks.

"Cease fire, load EMP rounds," Faraday ordered over the command channel. "Turn on the external loudspeakers on your armors, connect to the command channel, and let the commander speak."

Faraday's troops ceased firing, while soldiers in armor circled overhead, and Augustus's unhurried voice echoed from the airship.

"Sarah Kerrigan, we should shake hands and make peace."

Sarah Kerrigan. She was covered in wounds and her Psionics was almost depleted. Her long, fiery red hair, which had been tied up, was now loose over her shoulders, covering the left side of her face.

Kerrigan only sixteen years old at the time, and traces of her childhood were still visible on her face. Her pale lips trembled from the tight wounds. Kerrigan breathed heavily in pain, her soft gasps carrying a distinct tremor.

"Who's speaking?" Kerrigan stalled for time while searching for an escape route, but beneath her feet lay a broken ceiling and walls, with no cover and nowhere to retreat.

"Can you hear me?"

She was gathering her last bit of Psionics power, preparing for a desperate last stand. The Psionics suppressor would ensure the Ghost operative's absolute loyalty to the Confederacy, erasing any thoughts of rebellion or surrender.

"Augustus Mengsk, the Enemy of the Confederacy," Augustus.

"Augustus." Kerrigan injected herself with adrenaline right under the noses of the Revolutionary Army soldiers.

"People say that memories fade into blurry silhouettes over time, or even become scripts that can be altered, added to, or deleted at will. So, Kerrigan, how much of the memory you hold so firmly in your heart is actually real?"

"You're actually discussing philosophy with the enemy on the battlefield?" Kerrigan was trying to reactivate the stealth function of her combat suit, but it seemed to be completely disabled. She also tried to chat with Augustus to buy time, but she couldn't think of anything else to say for the moment.

Sixteen-year-old Kerrigan was taciturn; she rarely spoke, like a silent mountain.

"You should think about it carefully," Augustus said calmly, as if he were just having a Kerrigan.

"Think of your mother. She may have been gentle and beautiful, or she may have been a sharp-tongued and impatient woman. But none of that matters, because you killed her when you were still very young."

"What are you saying? Damn it!" Kerrigan's pale green eyes widened slightly as the nightmare that had haunted her for years resurfaced. She had broken with her nightmarish past—it was her own choice.

A sea of blood.

"Your uncontrolled Psionics crushed her head unintentionally, like crushing an insect. Blood splattered like juice, the skull cracked, the eyeballs with tendons still attached, the brain tissue turned white, and the jawbone half-attached to the skin," Augustus a coherent manner, as if reciting a menu, watching Kerrigan's face suddenly contort in pain.

"She was your mother, but how did she become like that back then?"

Sarah Louis Kerrigan!

Kerrigan began to tremble as the childhood nightmares that researchers had declared erased flooded back to her. A look of terror appeared on her face, and the usually strong and composed Ghost operative, who never seemed to shed a tear, collapsed to her knees, burying her face in her hands and sobbing uncontrollably.

The first time, the Psionics suppressor that Kerrigan hated and cursed did not work.

The Korhal Revolutionary Army soldiers who had been intently watching Kerrigan were stunned, completely unaware of what was happening, and hesitated whether to continue firing.

They certainly couldn't understand what Augustus was saying. Perhaps to these young people who were easily influenced by mysticism, those incomprehensible words and phrases combined to form a kind of witchcraft spell that could make Psionics lose control.

Perhaps the leader of the Revolutionary Army, son of the great revolutionary leader Angus Mengsk, the wolf of the Mengsk family, the eagle of Korhal, will have another new title.

"Your father, who witnessed all of this, went insane as a result, and a few years later, someone told you that he had committed suicide," Augustus.

"In a prison full of Psionics, your peers are defined as madmen, monsters, and outcasts, and you are the outcast among outcasts, a super monster."

Kerrigan's steel frame began to bend at an incredible arc, shattering into pieces of marble that floated in mid-air, the steel bars twisting and contorting like snakes.

The Revolutionary Army soldiers there heard bursts of Psionics screams, their eyes began to bloodshot, blood flowed from their ears, and some of them collapsed to their knees, falling into a coma.

The telepathic spread originated from the collective consciousness of everyone present. Kerrigan's overwhelming grief filled the soldiers' hearts, and tears streamed down their faces, tinged with bright red blood.

Kerrigan's Psionics level is increasing exponentially due to the intense stimulation, and a "Psionic Storm" originating from humanity is brewing. The direct stimulation can cause a high-level Psionics to lose control, and the uncontrolled Psionics sweep away everything in its path.

Are you the devil?

Kerrigan almost remembered that in her homeland of Tarkossia, she had destroyed her own family.

Her fate was a ridiculous tragedy.

She yearns for beauty, yet she always destroys everything with her own hands. She wants to bring salvation and hope, but destruction and despair are her constant companions.

"What are you waiting for, Faraday?" Augustus switched channels and said to his commander, "Grab her."

Faraday, tears streaming down his face, snatched the boatswain's heavy sniper rifle from one of his men, who was sobbing uncontrollably, and aimed it at Kerrigan. The other soldiers also struggled to fire.

Fortunately, before the soldiers could fire, an exhausted Kerrigan suddenly collapsed. The suspended rocks fell, and everyone escaped unharmed.

"How do you know all this?" asked Augustus's Shadow Guard guard Umojan Augustus, with a puzzled look.

"From my loyal and reliable Korhal Intelligence Bureau."

The Shadow Guard tilted his head, naturally feeling awe towards this mysterious department that seemed to not exist.
