Mira Han indeed demonstrated her exceptional talent and leadership qualities in military affairs and commanding soldiers in many ways. She established prestige among soldiers and junior officers through a combination of kindness and strictness, and won the trust of many senior officers with her cheerful and outgoing personality, yet never losing her dignity and responsibility in critical moments.

Of the three Marine divisions and one semi-mechanized mixed infantry division in the Deadman's Port Legion, the First Marine Division, where Mira served, was the first to achieve combat readiness, and their organizational capabilities and discipline were superior to the other divisions.

Mira Han's tough approach to dealing with the unruly and undisciplined soldiers in Deadman's Port proved more effective than that of the Korhal- born officers in the Revolutionary Army. Had Mira Han not joined the Revolutionary Army when Augustus passed through Deadman's Port, she might have become its "Queen" a decade or so later.

"I've said it many times: Mira Han's talent is worthy of a colonel position," Augustus. "She has proven her ability through several strikes against Terran Confederacy bases."

"There's no need to question it; I appoint people based on merit, and everyone with ability will get the position they deserve." He said, "We lack officers, especially senior officers—we're desperately short of them. Having Deadman's Port commanding Deadman's Port is the best option."

"Let officers and political commissars lead the teams together to do ideological work among the new recruits at the Deadman's Port. I believe that with a little training, they will become an army forged of steel."

After responding to the questioning of the second-level Pan-Terran Revolutionary Party political commissar, Augustus gave a detailed explanation of the troop mobilization orders, specifying how much equipment each unit should carry, when and where to depart, and when and where to arrive.

The staff and advisors offered their opinions on some minor flaws, but no one completely rejected Augustus 'Augustus orders—unless they considered them inconceivable and inhumane, no one would voice an untimely opinion.

Augustus was the true commander and the one who made the final decisions; in contrast, the General Staff was only responsible for advising him. Due to Augustus's high position and prestige in the Revolutionary Army, almost no one thought there was anything wrong with his increasingly autocratic way of doing things.

Most of the time, when commanding his troops in battle, Augustus would stay in his secluded office studying the maps of Mara Sara and the star charts of the Koprulu Sector. He would formulate many plans and select the best ones. When he relayed these plans to his staff officers and adjutants, it often meant that he already had them in mind.

"We must besiege the capital region of Mar- Sara for at least forty-eight hours while constantly putting pressure on the defenders. This will make the governor of Mar- Sara even more eager to request reinforcements, and the Alpha Squadron will have to send landing troops to recapture the lost territory after it arrives," Augustus concluded.

"We need to find a way to lure Edmond Duke to Mar- Sara, or to disperse his Fleets, in order to achieve a partial victory in this star system."

"So I need to show up on the front lines and convince Duke that I'm right here on the surface of Mar- Sara," Augustus continued. "Just question Duke's courage, and he'll take the bait."

"I'm certain that if Duke gets provoked, he'll instantly turn into a mad Viper." At this point, Warfield shrugged and said, "I would never say this about anyone else, but it's Duke."

"He'll definitely fall for it. Just kick Duke hard and humiliate him, and he'll bite you relentlessly."

"But we still have to consider the possibility that he didn't fall for it—though it's extremely unlikely." Warfield questioned, "Duke's temper is as bad as his blood relatives; he could very well have been fooled, but Duke certainly has no shortage of calm and collected men among his men."

"Yes, we must consider that possibility." Augustus agreed with Warfield's statement, "Duke has almost never lost a battle against an enemy much weaker than himself."

"As far as we know, none of his victories involved any particularly sophisticated tactics; the Alpha Squadron simply overwhelmed their enemies swiftly each time—either through frontal assaults or by using overwhelming firepower."

"My plan is to feign weakness," Augustus continued.

"Duke can't possibly know how many battlecruisers we have, just as we can't know how many ships Alpha Squadron has. As long as we convince him that we have far fewer warships than Alpha Squadron, Duke will inevitably lower his guard."

"Of course, to ensure everything goes perfectly, we must develop more backup plans, which is why I've invited you all here today."

Next, the officers and military advisors present began to systematically develop plans and draw maps, and it wasn't until evening that the final plan was finalized and the documents were distributed to all levels of the troops.

After the meeting, Augustus's subordinates either returned to their offices in the Hilo State Government Building or took transport planes back to their Fleets, while Augustus himself had to board the interstellar shuttle parked on the other side of the Sara System according to the schedule. After holding a meeting with all the captains, he had to return to the army on the surface of the planet Mar Sara without stopping.

Before leaving, Augustus reassigned Warfield and the others to different positions and tasks.

At this moment, Augustus and a few others remained in the entire conference hall. The wooden ceiling and floor, as well as the rose-colored marble walls, were bathed in the pale blue glow of the chandelier. Warfield and the Heaven's Devils were waiting for Augustus to speak.

"Warfield, I need you to return to your flagship and command the Fleets," Augustus said to Warfield.

"I've served in the Marines for over a decade, and now you want me to command Fleets." Warfield shrugged. "I'm still a complete novice. Back on the Steel Justice, I was just the executive officer of a battlecruiser."

"Choose the tallest among the short, General," Augustus could only say to him. "I can't find anyone else besides you."

"As for Harnack and Londerstein, I need you to command another division."

"No problem." Harnack happily accepted Augustus's order. He had long been fed up with the comfortable life in Umojan and was eager to make a name for himself.

"I will do my duty." Londerstein nodded, showing no emotional fluctuation.

"You— Lisa, you." Then, Augustus looked at Lisa Cassidy, the former medic of the Heaven's Devils, who was staring at him.

"I knew you wanted to send me to the hospital," Lisa wrinkled her nose.

"Lisa." Augustus looked at Lisa and said in an unquestionable tone, "The First Field Hospital needs a director. I also need you to go there to prepare for the establishment of the Revolutionary Army Medical Academy, so as to train more scarce medical soldiers for our army."

"Okay." Lisa paused for a moment, realizing that her conflict with Kerrigan would only annoy Augustus: "As long as you ask me to do it."

The third update will be much later.
