At 5 PM on February 20th, at Martin Fortress.

The armory at Martin Fortress was filled with Power Armor and weapons captured from Alpha Squadron, while standard Confederacy railguns, howitzers, and self-propelled artillery were set up in the square and open spaces.

The troops withdrawn from the front lines were resting in makeshift camps outside Martin Fortress. Compared to when they set out, many of these troops were missing, with some entire squads, platoons, and even companies wiped out. All the surviving soldiers could do was mourn the dead.

Of the Korhal soldiers who initially accompanied Augustus's Fleets on the expedition, fewer than 15,000 remained. They were reorganized into a veterans' division under the direct command of the headquarters, and were known as Augustus's own personal Guard Division.

Various departments in the command center are still carrying out numerous post-battle inventory and cleanup tasks, such as compiling lists of casualties, registering and searching for missing persons, and sorting the captured spoils of war.

A Behemoth-class Battlecruiser from the Revolutionary Army Fleets is hovering over the command center at an altitude of over 8,000 feet. Numerous transport planes and fighter jets use this massive, steel-city-like warship as their home port, shuttling between the sky and the ground.

While directing operations from the command center on the Command Island, Augustus was running his fingers through his hair as he processed various reports from different departments after the battle. He paced back and forth, looking at maps, lists of casualties, and writing to Angus Mengsk, who was far away in Umojan, urging him to use the victory to secure more military aid for the Revolutionary Army in the elected parliament of the Umojan Republic.

In addition, Augustus was waiting for the final cleanup of the battle to be completed.

Early that morning, Edmond Duke, who had sworn allegiance to Augustus, led his guards along with two brigades led by Jim Raynor and Tychus Finley, and set off to join the Warfield forces that had parachuted into Mar- Sara at the Gray Ridge Plain to pursue and intercept the last Alpha Squadron landing force still roaming the area.

Based on the information currently being relayed to Augustus, Duke's efforts to persuade them to surrender have been relatively successful. When he, as the highest-ranking commander, ordered the soldiers in that army to lay down their weapons, it was to no avail, even though some officers in the Alpha Squadron Marines who remained loyal to the Confederacy declared Duke a traitor.

These Resocialized Soldier, having undergone central nervous system modifications and lobotomies, simply could not comprehend any necessary connection between Duke's treason and his refusal to obey orders. After several hours of chaos, the officers found themselves unable to compel the disarmed soldiers to continue fighting.

Soon, the officers of the Alpha Squadron lost the will to continue fighting, and the various units surrendered to the Revolutionary Army one after another. Those who persisted in resisting were defeated one after another due to the indifference of the Resocialized Soldier.

By 7 p. m., Augustus received Raynor's report: the last Confederacy army had surrendered, and the Revolutionary Army had gained complete control of all cities, industrial areas, and mining areas in the southern hemisphere of Mar- Sara.

Only then did Augustus breathe a sigh of relief.

Around 8 p. m., two Ghost operative from Duke contacted Governor Mara Sara, who was on the run, using the communications channel of the Alpha Squadron command. They then learned her location under the guise of protection, arrested her, and handed her over to Augustus.

This marked the complete end of the Terran Confederacy's rule on the planet, with the Revolutionary Army taking control of all state governments and most township governments.

Upon hearing the news, Augustus took out a bottle of red wine he had brought from Korhal IV from the wine cabinet, intending to celebrate, but then remembered the wounded Revolutionary Army still suffering in the hospital, and silently put the wine back.

Immediately afterwards, Augustus ordered Kerrigan to prepare a command vehicle to be dispatched to the field hospital.

The large field hospital, constructed using modular new steel and simple prefabricated panels, was built by the Revolutionary Army 1st Engineer Regiment. It is located in a basin formed by geological movement in a barren plain. The building is covered with an environmental simulation curtain, which can effectively avoid detection by enemy Scout.

Once the Revolutionary Army has to relocate the field hospitals, the SCVs of the engineering corps will drive SCV to retrieve these prefabricated houses and their associated reactor facilities, cooling towers, water towers, and sewage facilities, which were built in just a few days.

Augustus, accompanied by several staff officers from the command headquarters, walked through the corridors of the prefabricated field hospital. Passing by wards separated by tinted glass doors, he heard intermittent painful groans and once again felt the cruelty of war.

The walls on both sides of the corridor were painted white, with green arrows and words marking the floor and room numbers. Revolutionary Army doctors and nurses in white coats walked past Augustus and his entourage with hurried steps, only nodding slightly.

The field hospital was filled with the smell of disinfectant and medicine. Revolutionary Army soldiers in military uniforms pulled carts carrying medicines such as coagulants, analgesics, and antibiotics from room to room.

The field hospital has a total of more than 15,000 beds, but it is barely enough. Therefore, the Revolutionary Army's engineering corps is building a second field hospital.

As Augustus rounded a corner, he saw Lisa Cassidy walking towards him—the former medic of the Heaven's Devils Squad, and one of the main leaders of this field hospital.

"More than 500 people are still being treated, and our doctors are doing their best to save them on the operating table. So far, the doctors have removed countless shrapnel fragments from the wounded." Lisa cut her long ginger-yellow hair short, leaving a neat shoulder-length bob, and ignored Kerrigan behind Augustus.

"Many died on the operating table, and many more didn't survive the journey from the battlefield to the field hospital. Most of those sent here were young men between sixteen and twenty years old; in Tarsonis, these men were still considered children."

"Gauss Rifle.50 caliber bullets and Goliath machine gun bullets have taken many lives, and all we can do is try our best to save their hands and feet," Lisa said calmly but desperately.

"From the moment the first wounded soldier was brought to the field hospital in the early morning, our doctors worked day and night. They watched helplessly as young lives slipped through their fingers—like sand slipping through their fingers."

"Our doctors are just as brave and strong as our soldiers, and their deeds deserve to be remembered by everyone." Augustus paused for a few seconds. "Let me go see those soldiers."

"I've made all the arrangements for you," Lisa told Augustus. "You're emotionally stable and haven't shown any signs of post-traumatic stress disorder."

"What can I do for them?" Augustus hesitated, a rare occurrence, before stepping inside.

"You just need to say they are brave." Lisa nodded slightly.

"Tell those who have been injured or disabled that they no longer need to fight."
