"Alright. Pretend you don't have one. I can't think of any other option for that Hellhound commander." Kerrigan smile, "Any Confederacy soldier with a sense of shame and morality, upon hearing of the great revolution we are undertaking, should not hesitate to join the cause and stand among us."

As a Psionics with telepathic abilities and one of Augustus's closest confidantes, Kerrigan is perhaps the woman in the world who understands Augustus best, outside of his family.

Many people consider Augustus one of the greatest, noblest, and most flawless perfections, lacking only the patina of age.

But only Kerrigan knew that Augustus's initial dream was nothing more than owning a three-bedroom apartment in a small town. Later, his dream expanded a bit, which was to be a leisurely farmer and spend the rest of his life in an idyllic pastoral life.

Now, something called fate has been imposed on Augustus, forcing him to become a leader or he and his family will die.

"Actually, he didn't have many choices." Augustus shrugged. "He either works for us, or he'll be executed or brainwashed by the Confederacy when he gets back."

"This unit must be incorporated into our order of battle this year," Augustus. "Temporarily, it will be assigned to Colonel Ilya Kulovsky's armored division. Even the most capable person still needs to be commanded by someone from the Heaven's Devils."

"You're so petty," Kerrigan Augustus.

"You've gone too far in being kind to the people of Heaven's Devils."

Augustus paced a few steps in the central command room, "Don't you understand when you tell others you want to join me in a revolution? If you fail, you die. And they still come with you, some of them who don't even care about politics or a change of government?"

"This is a chaotic world. The people I trust most are always my family, the Heaven's Devils, and the General."

"Well, you've done very well." Augustus sighed. "Sarah, you've done so well these past few days, without making a single mistake. I really don't know what I would do without you."

"It's just my job." A fleeting look of smugness crossed Kerrigan's face, which was slightly pale from always watching over Augustus day and night. This was quite unusual for the usually cold-looking red-haired ghost.

Sarah Kerrigan's life before the age of five was characterized by a father who was always a stern man and a mother who rarely praised her daughter. Her life after joining Ghost Academy was even more monotonous and cold.

In truth, a heartfelt compliment—even a superficial one—would be enough to bring a smile to the Red-haired Ghost's face. If you told Kerrigan you truly needed her, she would give anything for those words.

Although it was just a casual remark from Augustus, it was precisely what moved Kerrigan. Kerrigan had seen countless lies, conspiracies, and backstabbing; she had witnessed the ugliest aspects of humanity and the extreme evil disguised as benevolence. Therefore, her heartfelt words were all the more precious.

Only Augustus do that, which is why Kerrigan so infatuated with him.

"No one can do it better than you," Augustus, looking at Kerrigan.

"I know." Kerrigan finally stopped, revealing a bright smile.

"You really think so."

For some reason, Augustus saw that smile, he immediately thought of Lisa Cassidy from Korhal IV. Although it was only for a moment and Augustus himself didn't even notice, he would pay a heavy price tonight.

Kerrigan's radiant smile vanished in an instant, as if a bone-chilling cold had swept across a lush meadow, causing the flowers to wither.

"What's wrong?" Augustus. "You just smiled, didn't you? Your smile is captivating, more so than the most beautiful noblewoman I've ever seen, the Tarsonis. Seeing you smile at least makes me feel a little better; so much has happened these past few days."

Kerrigan glared, about to say something, when a series of English words suddenly appeared on the wall to one side of the central command room, indicating that Norad III was establishing a communication connection.

Without further ado, Edmond Duke's pointed head and arrogant eyes appeared on the screen.

"Excuse me, it looks like you two are flirting. As a gentleman, I'm deeply sorry." Duke's expression was serious, but his words were less so. "I may have missed a good show."

As a Tarsonis nobleman, Duke had frequented aristocratic social circles in his youth and was quite familiar with the chaotic nature of aristocratic relationships. In his view, young men and women in the throes of passion might enjoy doing exciting things in special settings.

"You're still as humble and polite as ever, General Duke." Augustus unperturbed. "What has happened that warrants you using the emergency line?"

"Well, it's nothing serious—at least that's how it seems to me." Duke waved his hand, knowing that teasing someone of such high status was unwise.

Perhaps Augustus still approachable and forgiving at this time, but who knows if he would bring up old grievances again once he rose to a higher position and truly held the reins of power in Koprulu.

"Take a look at this and you'll see, but don't let it blind you," he said sarcastically.

The scene shifted, and a golden flash immediately filled the entire Holographic Projection screen.

The flashes were so dazzling that Augustus felt as if he were staring directly at a golden star, and he even saw double images and black spots in his vision.

It was a Great Fleet composed of warships radiating golden-blue light. The curves, patterns, and pale blue plasma shields of each warship were exquisitely crafted, like works of art. The elegant arcs were perfect and harmonious, and the soft pale blue halo emitted when the crystals resonated was like spreading waves.

At least one hundred Carrier and a hundred times that number of smaller warships filled all of Norad III's cameras, obscuring the light from the stars and planets of the Sara System, as if they were the very celestial bodies illuminating the universe. Countless small fighters, resembling pale golden moths, swarmed around the Fleets, flitting through the galaxy like a swarm of bees, beautiful as butterflies yet utterly deadly.

Directly ahead of this Fleets were the retreating Jormungand Brood and the planet Cha- Sara in the Sara System, which had now been completely reduced to a pale purple planet covered with a thick Creep.

"That is..." Kerrigan's jade-green eyes widened.

This massive Fleets is undoubtedly a combination of the art and beauty of war; more precisely, it should be the pinnacle of aesthetics, elevating war to the level of art.

"Protoss," Augustus murmured a single word.

"Not the Taldarim," Kerrigan said.

"They have indeed come," Augustus said in a voice only he could hear. "Where there are Zerg, there are Protoss."

At that moment, multiple screens in the central command room lit up simultaneously.

Official communication channels in the Sara System and several nearby colonies remain unobstructed, and have become increasingly frequent in the last two months. Now, the number of communications being sent and received is skyrocketing, and a certain word is starting to appear frequently in the information intercepted by the Revolutionary Army.

A golden flash.

"What are they doing?" Kerrigan murmured to herself as the Protoss Fleets's cylindrical capital ships swept across the edge of the Sara System at phantom speed and dispersed into outer space orbits around Cha Sara. Their hulls were perpendicular to the planet's surface at various latitudes, and the fan-shaped hatches at the bow opened with increasingly bright golden-blue flashes.
