Edmond Duke's Norad III, sailed further away to avoid being targeted by this unidentified, Great Fleet.

The hundreds of cameras on the Norad III remained firmly locked on the golden Fleets hovering in high orbit above Cha Sara. Whether it was the Alpha Squadron officers issuing orders on the bridge or the technicians running back and forth, everyone held their breath and watched it all.

Once, humanity believed itself to be the only intelligent life in the universe, considering even the Zerg no more than beasts compared to humans. However, the truth is that imposing armies and magnificent Fleets are not exclusive to humanity; an elder race, having entered the starship age far earlier than humans, is unleashing its fury upon the Sara System.

The Giant has awakened and stepped into the children's playground.

"The energy output level sensed by the Norad III probe is continuously increasing," a technical officer said.

"Tell me what this means." Duke's hands were behind the back of his dark gray shawl-like military coat, his Viper triangular face slightly narrowed, and no one knew what this rude and arrogant Tarsonis nobleman was thinking.

"Their main guns are about to fire," the technical officer replied.

"For God's sake, what the hell are these aliens?" Duke roared, spewing out the crude language of the Edge Sector bumpkins he was referring to.

"I bet it's those sharp-headed Tal'darim who's behind this; they're definitely involved."

If it weren't for the seemingly vast disparity in strength between the two sides, General Duke, true to his nature, might have already led his Fleets forward. This old Tarsonis nobleman held aliens in utter contempt; in his view, any non-human monster should be executed immediately—regardless of whether they possessed any so-called intelligence or emotions.

Moreover, Marshal Augustus of the Revolutionary Army was closely monitoring everything happening on Norad III and in the Sara System from the central command room of the fortress. As some in the Revolutionary Army said, Duke was nothing more than a gorilla in Arthur's Court, and Arthur would keep a close eye on his pet.

Even as Duke was cursing and swearing, though the Norad III was quite far from Cha Sara, almost at the edge of the galaxy, the incandescent, extremely bright light still illuminated the entire bridge of the battlecruiser in an instant, turning the world in the soldiers' eyes into an extreme white.

The blinding light lasted for three to four seconds before dissipating. At that moment, the command centers at all levels of the Revolutionary Army fortress on Norad III, as well as the main screens of human warships throughout the Sara System, were all simultaneously recording this exceptionally shocking scene.

In high orbit above Cha Sara, a cylindrical golden warship was unleashing purifying flames toward the planet. Countless massive white beams of light shot straight toward the cyan-glowing planet, and bright orange spots of light immediately appeared on its surface, expanding like an oil film spreading on water.

At the impact points, colorful vortexes of radiation churned the white clouds. These beautiful vortices spun and stretched for thousands of miles, clearly visible in space, like the red spots on Jupiter. Colorful ripples spread rapidly from dozens of impact points to the entire surface of the planet. Such dazzling colors and orange-red spots of light completely obscured the planet's actual color in the eyes of the stunned people.

As a terrestrial planet, Cha Sara was hundreds of times brighter than before. On the main screen, it resembled a dying star that would eventually become a hot white dwarf, a melting, mottled sphere. Flickering, incongruous orange-red spots of light covered the planet's surface, with some of the main impact points shining particularly brightly.

The Protoss main cannon's strike destroyed at least eighty percent of Cha Sara's atmosphere, the heat churning the scorching air and creating Hurricane and storms that swept across the planet.

The main cannon beam swept across the planet's surface, instantly erasing the mountains covered in a thick layer of Creep. All the planet's oceans were evaporated in a short time, and massive amounts of water vapor escaped the planet's gravitational field and dissipated into space. On the main screen of Norad III, Cha Sara resembled an orange spherical balloon with a hole torn in it, filled with water vapor.

The strikes are comprehensive, leaving no blind spots, and penetrate 20 to 50 feet (6 to 15 meters) deep into the ground. At the center of the strike point, the depth often exceeds 160 feet (50 meters).

A particularly powerful beam of light from the Carrier's main cannon struck deep enough to penetrate the Earth's crust. Thick, scorching red magma surged from the crust, and all the volcanoes erupted, spewing lava and billowing smoke. This once lush and beautiful world had been transformed into a lava world where red oceans of magma flowed on the ground and terrifying Hurricane raged in the sky.

As dawn approaches the latitude of the star that Cha Sara is about to turn towards, it has now transformed into a scorching, crimson hellscape, with the horizon and sky bathed in a crimson glow, like a constantly flashing red aurora.

Under such a large-scale orbital bombardment, no creature could possibly survive in Cha Sara; even the terrifying Zerg were burned to ashes in the flames.

The Protoss Fleets's attack only ceased completely after Cha Sara had completely transformed into what appeared to be a burning sphere.

Cha Sara, this beautiful planet that once nurtured countless wondrous creatures, will slowly cool and gradually transform into a black crystalline body with a surface entirely composed of silicates.

The planet is completely dead.

The bridge of Norad III was deathly silent. They had never seen anything like it before, witnessing a planet utterly perish before their very eyes. Even the extremely arrogant and proud Duke was speechless, repeatedly pulling his collar up and then letting it down in a daze.

Clearly, such a level of attack is completely beyond human capability. Even the Korhal IV, Apocalypse-class Nuclear Missile that survived a nuclear attack, only cleared away buildings and forests on the surface. At the point of impact, many people and animals survived by sheer luck.

Inside the Revolutionary Army's fortress, Augustus also witnessed all of this through the perspective of the Norad III. He remained calm, as if he had already anticipated it all.

Augustus simply pulled the utterly shocked Sarah Kerrigan into his arms and patted her back. "It's alright, darling, we've rescued Cha Sara's people."
